Coming from much farther away were several European
exhibitors, including Lovehoney. The British pleasure
product company showed off the crowd-pleasing Uprize,
one of the more ground-breaking items on display.
Uprize showcases the very latest in innovation in the
sex toy industry, introducing patented Remote Control
AutoErect technology, which automatically powers
the rise and fall of the Uprize dildo shaft. When erect,
Uprize is completely rigid and has a strong suction
base so it can be attached to flat surfaces or fit into a
harness for couple’s play. With a motor in the tip and 10
vibration functions that range from intense to off-the-
scale, Uprize is designed to pack in the pleasure.
Nexus is making a renewed push into the U.S. market,
and to that end showcased its Revo Slim prostate
manager and the Ultra Si. The new Revo Slim prostate
massager of Nexus perfect for beginners or for those
who prefer a smaller product. Despite the smaller size
than the other items, the Revo Slim will deliver intense,
targeted stimulation of the prostate and perineum. The
silicone shaft is smaller than the rest of the range and
rotates in both directions. It gives 34 combinations
of pleasure combined with two speeds. The rotating
shaft delivers six stimulation modes; choose from slow,
medium, fast, slow pulse, fast pulse and escalating.
Ultra Si is a prostate massager that combines luxury
silicone with firm polypropylene for enhanced dual
density sensations. Using the effective shape of the
Nexus Neo, this dual prostate and perineum massager
is designed to fit comfortably within the male form. The
shaft is shaped to massage the prostate internally whilst
the stainless steel rollerball gently rolls against the
perineum, delivering a licking sensation to the user.
Mystim, a German-based company that specializes

in e-stim products, had a whole array of new products.
Among its newest items are the Heavenly Henry—a
lasso that can be used around the penis or testicles—and
the Daring Danny Black Edition, an all-black version of
the popular Daring Danny dual stimulator that vibrates,
tingles and pulsates. There were even the Petits Joujoux,
portable candles with scents themed to evoke different
vacation hot spots (Paris, Rome, Athens, London,
Waikiki, the Orient).
But Mystim’s company rep was most excited about
the ClusterBuster, a power box that wirelessly controls
an array of electrodes. Using the ClusterBuster, one can
have eight different products all individually controlled
through one remote control. The electrical impulses can
be delivered with 10 levels of intensity and 12 modes or
patterns, plus there are five training programs targeted
toward Kegel exercises. And, the rep points out, “you
have a shock button in the middle where it goes to the
highest setting for three seconds. Or you can press and
hold it as long as you want to punish the person.”
Traveling from the other side of the world was
Liaoyong Baile, a returning exhibitor to AVN Novelty
Expo that manufactures an array of pleasure products
designed for men and women. Veterans of ANE will be
familiar with their line of vibrators, dildos and strokers
branded under the name Pretty Love.
And with all these companies moving products
around the globe, the services of Shipper’s Advocate
definitely come into play. The company returned to ANE
again this year to meet with potential clients about the
services they can provide. The company—founded by
Doug Carnes, a former corporate manager for UPS—can
help manufacturers and more save money when it comes
