Speaking of the right coast, other pleasure product
brands made the trek to Vegas to meet buyers and
put their best products forward. East Coast News
displayed a number of brands the award-winning
distributor carries, including items exclusive to ECN,
such as the One Night Stand from Evolved, the entire
Minx, Linx and Kinx line from ABS Holdings and
Banana Golds condoms. The company also featured
items from manufacturers who are new to the
distributor, including Fleshlight, Shots America, Uvee
and Electrastim.
Perhaps most impressive was Zumio, a vibrator that
offers pinpoint clitoral stimulation. This innovative
Pacific Northwest manufacturer recently developed a
second product, Zumio Caress, that offers less intense
stimulation, giving consumers another choice. Both
models of the Zumio are currently exclusive to ECN.
Xgen Products had a full booth of products at ANE,
thanks to the distributor’s recent acquisition of the
brands Rabbit Company, Ovo Lifestyle Toys, Drilldo
and more. In addition to the new lines, Xgen reps
also enticed buyers with its Latexwear collection,
as well as its Frederick’s of Hollywood collection of
vibrators and other pleasure products. For men, Xgen
showcased its Zolo range, including the new BlowPro,
with automated action to simulate a blowjob, and the
Zeppelin, a black obelisk that vibrates and rotates.
“We have the Phase 5 collection of Ovo Lifestyles
Toys, which is a range of rechargeable vibrators,” said
Xgen President Andy Green. The new range is a step
up from Ovo’s battery-operated line, he said, and
features improved designs and materials for better
vibrations.
Green also pointed out the new items in the
company’s Frederick’s of Hollywood collection,
including the single-shaft stimulator that was
previously only included in kits.
“Retailers told us customers wanted the option of
purchasing the vibrator separately, so we made that
possible, and increased the functions to 10,” Green
said.
One display that could not be overlooked was
the one for Rock Candy Toys. Rock Candy made a
grand entrance with a candy store-themed booth that
highlighted the bright colors—aptly named Bubble
Gum, Cotton Candy, Cinnamon, Blueberry and Grape
Jelly Bean—used on its 12 new products. The candy
theme continues with the products themselves, with
the new range featuring Gummy Balls, Gummy Vibes,
Lala Pops and more.
The entire collection, explained company founder
Keith, is meant to capture a youthful market that
has been ignored by manufacturers and distributors
recently.
“We have fresh new designs and fresh new colors,”
he said.
With Candy Stix (single-shaft stimulators that
boast five functions and three speeds), Lala Pops that
are external stimulators with a ball on the end of the
handle to stimulate more surface area and Gummy
Balls (bright and colorful finger vibes), the line is easy
to display and is sure to draw attention on retailers’
shelves and walls.
XR Brands also turned heads at ANE, with six new
lines and additional products in several other existing
ranges. One of the most talked-about new lines is
the collection from adult superstar Jesse Jane. The
collection has six pieces molded directly from her
body and enhanced with hand-painted detailing.
The line is completely made in the USA, as is the
new USA Cocks line. USA Cocks are realistic dildos
made with dual-density TPR for a more lifelike feel.
Another new line coming soon is Rimmers, a series
of anal plugs featuring rotating beads to emulate the
feel of analingus. Each features a different size and
shape, but all are equipped with a remote control, and
waterproof silicone construction. Also among the anal
play collections is Hosed, a series of extra-long snake-
like anal tools with suction-cup bases.
SexToyDistributing.com, the distribution sister
company to XR Brands, also had a booth at ANE.
Much of the space in that booth went to showcase the
capabilities of the Saddle Deluxe sex machine from
Lovebotz.
We-Vibe, which made its debut in the pleasure
products sector at ANE 10 years ago, exhibited the
We-Vibe Anniversary Collection. The kit includes a
limited edition We-Vibe Sync and an updated Tango
by We-Vibe, plus an exclusive new play case. The
collection is inspired by the original We-Vibe couples
vibrator that was launched in Las Vegas in 2008. The
Anniversary Collection play case design references the
original We-Vibe case and allows for discreet storage
and charging of both products. Sync and Tango come
in a limited edition iridescent, cosmic purple. The
We-Vibe Anniversary Collection will be available
this spring. The crew was also celebrating We-Vibe
founder Bruce Murison, a 2018 inductee into the AVN
Hall of Fame - Pleasure Products Branch.
Clandestine Devices showcased its award-winning
Mimic lay-on massager at ANE, where it debuted
last year. The Mimic is a powerful personal manager
that is ergonomically designed to fit into the palm
of the hand and provide external stimulation. Mimic
boasts eight vibrational patterns and six speeds. The
waterproof and rechargeable massager comes in three
rich colors—black, lavender and seafoam green—and
resembles a soft and curvy stingray. This year the
company celebrated its first AVN Award win: a trophy
for Best Pleasure Product Manufacturer – Small.
In the booth for Impulse Novelties, the crew
showed off the new packaging for the Black Door
collection, which is now compact, making it better
for the environment as well as for retailers looking
to stock even more product on their shelves. Also
proving to be a hit is the Amie range, which features
compact vibrators with a bulbed handle making them
easier to hold and maneuver.

promote Satisfyer Men; sensual enhancers from Bedroom Products.
In FemmeFunn’s booth, visitors were treated to
the company’s Turbo items in the Vortex series.
The wireless massagers are USB rechargeable and
waterproof, as well as powered by a remote control.
The Vortex motion means the head of the shafts rotate
in 360 degrees, and the Turbo function adds an extra
boost of power when it’s desired. The pieces come
in light and dark flesh tones, feature a realistic veiny
texture and have suction cup bases so they can be
used on a flat surface during solo play.
Shibari Wands got its start in the industry creating
superior wand-style massagers, but since then has
branched out to other products. On display in the
company’s booth were the Hello, Sexy range of
items designed to be playfully cute and help people
bring sexy fun into the bedroom. The range includes
BlingBling Mini Massagers, a Curved Power Massager
and Amped Up Arousal Gel. New Items in the booth
included Cherry Kegel Balls—a set of five individual
Kegel exercisers in different colors and different
weights—and the Beso pleasure product. The Beso
capitalizes on the recent popularity of products that
provide suction for clitoral stimulation, but adds to
the experience by providing eight different types of
suction.
“It has a wider opening too, so it can be used all
over the body of both men and women,” explained
company rep Danielle. Beso is available in black with
rose gold trim or pink with silver trim.
Las Vegas-based Synergy Erotic Novelties
showcased its extensive collection of powerful
products available at reasonable prices. Manning
the booth was Bob Wolf, the 2018 recipient of the
Lifetime Achievement honor at the “O” Awards, which
took place January 25.
