How was your second annual Bloom
Awards an improvement from the first?
As I mentioned above, the first
ceremony was very “homemade” and
quickly put together. The second one I
was preparing a few months in advance.
Everything from announcements,
graphics, green screen, logo design
to custom-made, engraved trophies
was carefully created planned out and
executed. … I also wrote a script and
made cue cards as opposed to winging
it like last time. It was definitely a huge
step up.
How did you think the 2019 Bloom
Awards turned out?
We had a few minor technical issues
(like OBS kicking me off and not
connecting back to the server mid-
stream) but we were able to fix them and
get on with the show. The rest of it I was
pretty happy with. Definitely need to
memorize my lines next year! I got way
too nervous trying to read the cue cards.
