What inspired you to pursue a Master’s degree in Film? How
gratifying was it for you to achieve that?
I have always been absolutely in love with Film and getting a
degree in film was not only an amazing experience all the way
through but also actually very helpful for camming. Of course
when you work towards something for many years it always
feels marvelous to reach that goal. Getting my Master’s in Film
was not only something I always wanted, it also challenged me,
made me move across the world to pursue it and was one of
the big reasons why I started modeling and camming.
When did you begin acting? How would you describe your
acting career?
I began acting in middle school. I was a part of an improv
troupe and later on part of a theatre company. When I
graduated high school I went for Bachelor’s in Acting and was
simultaneously working at a theatre. I did a few films and guest
star roles in Ukrainian TV shows and then moved to the US to
pursue acting further, when I got my MFA, did a lot of short
films and starred in three feature-length movies up to date, with
more in the works! I am also currently studying improv in one of
the best schools in the country (The Groundlings). Acting has
been going good for me, but the best is yet to come!
What are some of the feature films you’ve been in?
I starred in Puppet Master: Axis Termination, which is a part
of a slasher classic franchise. It is currently available on Amazon
Prime. Art of the Dead is another film I did; it hasn’t officially
come out yet but we already had a premiere screening and it is
a very fun horror flick. I just got off set for a sci-fi movie called
Attack of the Unknown, which is probably going to come out
sometime in 2020.
How did you learn to cook?
I started cooking when I was a kid due to my mom passing
early and my father working long days. I have always enjoyed
cooking. It gives you the freedom to eat exactly what you’re
craving and make it specifically the way you want it to be.
It is also something of yet another creative outlet for me.
Experimenting with spices and ingredients always makes me
giddy because I feel like I am a wizard creating a new potion.
Did I mention I am obsessed with Harry Potter? Cooking is also
very rewarding because it not only it saves money, it is also a
great feeling when someone tries your food and absolutely
loves it!9 | CAMSTAR | 7.18
