In addition to the sex scene upstairs there’s a lot of dialogue to shoot, including
two bits with Pax talking on the phone. On the first two takes, voices are heard
in the hall. Lord is getting impatient. “Quiet, you heckling banshees!” he yells.
Take 3, a door slams. Take 4, again. But this time it’s the wind playing tricks
rather than an unruly cast member. The door secured, shooting begins—and
the refrigerator fan starts up. The P.A. leaps into action, unplugging the fridge.
Finally, success.
Then the crew heads to a lower floor in an expansive space with huge windows
looking onto a hillside. A space has been set up for Tara and Kelly (pictured
above): peach-colored love seat, comfy chair and ottoman. Kelly presses for
details about her sex life with John, but Tara is reticent.
“You’re killing me. Just say it,” Kelly says.
“It’s no big deal,” Tara says. “It’s just something a little unexpected. Let’s just
say I discovered one of John’s fantasies last night.”
The scene keeps going, as Kelly does her best to bring out Tara’s wild side
with racy apparel. “The lingerie doesn’t judge,” Kelly reassures her. But it isn’t
until Kelly breaks out her favorite candy-cane vibe that she is able to tempt her
shy friend.
Cameraman Genoa takes a moment during a break to compliment both
women. “I felt all the emotions through the camera,” he says to Pax, adding, “I
could just shoot Bridgette all day. She’s so animated. So many personalities.”
