And now, back to The Sex Awards. Voted on by fans, the awards
will be handed out on September 25 at Lure in Hollywood, with a
scheduled national broadcast date slated for January 2014.
“We loved the idea of a new awards show that would differ greatly
from the AVN Awards Show, XBIZ Awards, XRCO, and all of the
other existing events,” Fishbein said. “These awards will be voted on
by consumers and have different categories. In addition, the show
will have a reality television component that is completely unique.”
AVN Media Network CEO Theo Sapoutzis stated, “We’re pleased
to join forces with X3Sixty for the first-ever Sex Awards. For over 30
years the AVN Awards have been the adult industry’s biggest night,
gaining massive consumer awareness through its televised broadcast.

The Sex Awards will allow consumers to be in control of the winners.
Businesses and talent will have input on the nomination process.
“We will be reaching out shortly to all talent, producers, toy
manufacturers, websites, production and distribution companies—
all elements vital to the adult industry—to get their input before the
voting site goes live,” Fishbein explained. “Companies will be able to
get behind their products; talent can use their social media resources
to garner votes; and it will make the whole experience interactive.”
Submissions may be made until June 3 at noon PST. These may
be emailed directly to Fishbein (paul@x3sixty.com). “Companies
and producers should limit their suggestions to three products or
titles,” Fishbein said. “Talent can nominate themselves in any cate-
gories, plus anything they’ve performed in. Agents are welcome to
nominate their clients in any categories as well.”
For a product or movie to be eligible, it must have been released
between June 1, 2012, and May 31, 2013. Write-in voting will be
available on the voting site for stars, sites or products not listed.
