This session brings together a panel of experts to discuss the evolution

manufacturing, marketing, and retailing trends—from the sexy side of
the Internet of Things to the rise of gender-neutral toys.
Legal Issues in 2020 ... And Beyond

Prominent attorneys who deal with adult industry issues will be
holding forth on topics that adult studios and performers need to know
to navigate the adult business successfully, including:
• How studios and performers can protect their material online
• The impending legalization of sex work in California and the U.S.
• The ongoing threat from Trump-appointed conservation (and anti-
porn) federal judges
• The duties of talent agents to their clients
• How the new “gig economy” law, AB 5, will affect adult industry
workers
Stepping Up to the Director’s Seat
3–3:50 p.m.
More often than ever before, adult stars are taking the experience
they’ve gained on set and stepping up to helm full-fledged productions:
writing their own stories, hiring a crew, booking performers and taking
on all the details that come with sitting in the director’s seat. A panel of
veterans and newcomers will share their experiences.
