ANME
Gliding High
Lubricant manufacturers could be found
throughout the exhibit halls at ANME. Regular
exhibitors Sliquid and Ride BodyWorx had a
number of new products to share, including the
Sliquid Spark lubricant.
“Sliquid Spark is a stimulating lubricant that
is our silicone formula with menthol added, so
it goes on cool and warms with friction,” said
Colin Roy, Sliquid’s senior vice president.
A version was also released under the Ride
label as Booty Buzz, he said. Ride also debuted
Beard Oil, which features a blend of nut and
seed oils and vitamin E to nourish and soften
beards.
Other Sliquid items are two new scents for
the popular Soak bubblebath: Green Tea and
Coconut Papaya. Soak is formulated with sea
salt and mango and shea butters.
The System JO booth treated visitors to its
still new Bucked line of lubricants, as well the
Tri Me Triple Packs. The kits contain travel-
sized lubricants that pair well or can be used

individually. They come in three versions: The
Classics, The Gelatos and The Flavors.
Exsens, maker of high-quality cosmetics and
personal moisturizers, released two perfumes
at the ANME show. With a price point of just
under $25, each of the French perfumes comes
with added benefits.
Under the Influence is a pheromone-infused
formula, while Rhodiola Rosea contains a root
found only in the Arctic Circle that has been
known to help boost moods. Both perfumes
come in glass bottles, and retailers will be able
to get a POP with six bottles of each variety
as well as testers. The perfumes are expected
to begin shipping by this fall, in time for the
holiday shopping season.
Another good POP item was on display at
ID Lubricants. The new four-SKU Oral Sex Gel
line comes packaged in lip-gloss-sized bottles
with a pump dispenser. The sugar-free edible
gels come in four flavors—Berry Blast, Birthday
Cake, Bubblegum and Cotton Candy.
CalExotics and XR Brands aren’t the only
manufacturers celebrating major milestones
this year. Kama Sutra marked its 50th year in
business, celebrating with a booth festooned
with decorations and balloons.
The Half-Century Mark
The company started with a single
products—Oil of Love—which is continues to
sell today. “It’s still the same formula it was
on Day 1,” explained Marla Lee, president of
Kama Sutra.
One of the original bottles from 50 years ago
was on display, with new bottles just a shelf
underneath. Still packaged in glass bottles with
labels featuring a cartouche, Oil of Love is now
available in a number of varieties and sizes.
The booth was also stocked with new items
introduced in the past year by the company,
including Naughty Notes. Each greeting card
features a sassy saying—such as “You own my
heart … and my ass!” or Lick me! Please!”—
and includes three packets of Kama Sutra
Products—Oil of Love, Massage Oil, etc.—and
four position cards, suggesting positions
couples can try to reenact.
“The Naughty Notes are a great way for
customers to sample several Kama Sutra
products at once,” Lee said.
The company has also introduced smaller
sizes of many of its products in the past year to
better meet customers’ needs.
“Relationships have changed in the past
50 years,” Lee said. “No matter the number
of relationships or the type of relationships,
smaller sizes of the popular products allows for
more experimentation and return customers.”
ANME is expected to return in January. For
