Dahl said that mayhem ensued on-set when excessive spitting became part of the scenario. Typically on her “no list” of things she’d rather not perform, the actress felt like it was necessary to include spitting, to add to her character’s humiliation. She and Foxxx were laughing between cuts, she said, as the situation spiraled out of hand. “I do not do it generally and I did for this scene. I was like, ‘I can suck it. I’ll let y’all spit in my mouth for this scene because it’s like I need something to be to make me visually disgusted in the scene,” she described.
”It’s always fun to play something like not ordinary,” Foxxx said. “You know, like not being stuck in a washing machine or being a stepmom. It’s fun when the roles switch up and you get to play something outside of the box. You get to see how well you can stick to your character. Siri is such a great actress that like I was like, ‘Oh, well, I have to come, I have to come at my A game.’”
One of the original Adult Time Ambassadors, the production is Dahl’s first time to try her hand at scriptwriting. She credited Adult Time and married producer/director team Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q with helping her create a compelling story, within the confines of an adult movie format and budget. The one-day shoot was a day well spent, according to the co-stars.
“I really do especially love working with Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q as directors. Like they’re, they’re really, really good at what they do,” Dahl said. “I mean, how many director awards have they been nominated for and won now? Like several I believe, and very, very. deserved. Yeah, it was a really fun shoot day and I’ve really enjoyed all the projects I’ve done with Adult Time.”
Foxxx agreed and said she’s had half the production crew at her home for 4th of July and Thanksgiving. “I feel like that [production] day was so special, like working with your friends is awesome. Siouxsie and Michael are great producers. I love them. They’ve become so much of my family that it’s so awesome to work with everybody... I’ve been feeling like I’ve just been hanging out with my friends. it’s been a pleasure to work this year ‘cause everybody’s so awesome,” she said.
But what about the bad guys? In movies, whenever the villain “gets it” in the end, it’s cathartic—almost like an orgasm.
“Wife’s Revolt: A Siri Dahl Story,” is slated for release the first week of January, from Pure Taboo/Adult Time.
