For Siri Dahl, revenge is a dish best served hot. Audiences will get to see just how hot in upcoming featurette, “Wife’s Revolt: A Siri Dahl Story,” from Pure Taboo. Co- starring veteran adult actors Ana Foxxx and Tommy Pistol, the vengeful vignette is a twisted turn of the screw, scripted by Dahl.
The plot device is simple: Pistol plays Dahl’s sadistic, manipulative husband, whose verbal and psychological abuse is merciless. He enjoys subjugating his wife, but when she finally gets to her breaking point, Dahl turns to her best friend (played by Foxxx) and they hatch a scheme to get revenge.
Such a triggering scenario of abuse is a theme that may resonate with some viewers, but is the story based on real life?
“No, not directly. I mean, it is inspired by some real life experiences of mine,” Dahl told AVN. “For example, like, over 10 years ago when I first started out in the adult industry, I was married and the person I was married to was very manipulative and emotionally abusive. So, that experience is what inspired this story.”
“But I knew it needed to be very exaggerated... There was a lot of dialogue in the scene leading up to the sex, and the reason for that is because we were, like—I really wanted to make sure that it was established what a piece of shit my character’s husband is, right?
“The things that Tommy Pistol’s character does are not things that my ex specifically ever did to me. I was kinda like, ‘Let me take this to like the nth degree,’” Dahl described. “I feel like it would be really inappropriate if there was just like outright physical abuse in the scene,” she added. “So that’s not something that anyone’s gonna be seeing, but it is, it’s very like dark psychologically.
“I feel like that’s kind of what it needs to be because, one, porn is all fantasy,” she explained. “So, I needed it to have a tone of being kind of over the top, to differentiate it. This is still something that people are supposed to watch and be able to enjoy—it is porn. I know people are going to be jerking off to it. So...”
The result, she said, is an evil threesome that turns the tables on the villainous spouse.
“Tommy is so good at playing like, just really a hate-worthy, shitty dude,” Dahl laughed. “Ironically, because he’s like one of the genuinely nicest, in my opinion— one of the best men in the porn industry, period. But, of course it would take a guy like that to be able to just really inhabit a terrible man.”
Co-star Foxxx agreed that Pistol’s acting was so on-point that it felt uncomfortable, at times, when Pistol’s character would berate his wife, especially since they are all friends in real life.
“I’m [playing] her best friend, so my advice to her was, ‘Fuck that, let’s get even.’ Like, ‘You’re not gonna go through that. I’m your friend, you’re not gonna take that, come over!’ Um, and I felt a little bit bad because the topic is like, you know, so close to home,” Foxxx explained. “In the end, you just kind of wanted Tommy’s character to, like, to get fucked—get fucked in a bad way.”
