“She elaborates, “I have this desire to express porn that’s wholesome. I feel like there’s not enough wholesome porn out there, where people can feel validated and just deeply loved. I want people to have a video where they can go back onto it and just masturbate to it over and over again, just dreaming of that experience.”
A worthy ambition, to be sure. And while this will be her first venture into standard, 2D porn directing, Leana got her feet wet earlier this year as a helmswoman on a few virtual reality scenes for SexLikeReal—the same company that produced the scene for which she took home that aforementioned trophy (“Dream Team”)—and new banner VRSpy.
“I’m hoping that with my experience with Bree, that I’ll learn more about classical filming, but also in general just about changes in lighting and the differences in lighting in 2D versus lighting for VR, because they are different,” she professes.
Regardless of the technical differences, though, any pornographic handiwork of Leana Lovings’ is going to bear one distinct trait—it will be “very deeply affectionate and loving,” as she puts it.
“It fits the name,” she quips. “I didn’t intend it that way, but I love the creation of gentle and very sexy scenes.”
Looking ahead, Leana offers, “My goals for the next year are to advance my directing ability, because I’m really hoping that it gives me more insight also as a performer—I feel like the more that I get experience as a director, the more I know what a director would want from me and my body. I’m learning so much still from other performers about how we interact for the camera, but there’s still so much insight that you only get from behind the lens.
“My other goal is to participate in even bigger projects with other companies. I mean, I absolutely love everyone that I’ve worked with, and they’re just so fantastic.
“I want to keep making awesome shoots. Like, let’s just do that, and have so much fun doing it.”
