Married life just didn’t fit into the master ‘till-death-do-us-part plan for Tommy Pistol and Freya Parker. So much so that Pistol, at mistress/ therapist September Reign’s urging, has taken out a large insurance policy and hired hitman Ryan McLane to poison Parker, who it turns out is already planning on filing for divorce.
The problem is that hitman McLane is conflicted. Sure, he can use a couple hundred thousand as payment for the hit so he and money-hungry girlfriend Kenzie Taylor can go off the grid and live in some tropical paradise—but he keeps stalling as though something doesn’t feel right.
McLane falls for Parker and a romantic hotel romp ensues. Unable to go through with the murder, he comes clean and confesses his original motive to off her, painting his new love for her as fait accompli. She forgives him and they both briefly live together until a vengeful Taylor sneaks in and poisons their drink.
