Luminous cinematography, eye-catching editing and spot-on performances elevate Casey: A True Story from the run-of-the- lube-bottle biopic it could have been. Tommy Pistol's turn as
the ex-con dad reveals as much by what he doesn’t say as what he does, and late-to-the-party Kisses dominates the third hour.
