“We broke the bed and broke
the bathtub.”
Few adult performers have blazed a career trail that is more
emblematic of what fame means in the social media age than
Kendra Sunderland. When this Oregon college girl signed up
with MyFreeCams and began webcamming, she took the fi rst
step on a path that has taken her on a tour of the industry’s
marquee brands at a time when the industry was rapidly
changing.
It was Greg Lansky’s Vixen imprint that booked Sunderland’s
fi rst boy/girl sex scene. Sunderland spent much of her career
shooting exclusively for Lansky’s sites and was named the fi rst
Vixen Angel.
“When I was done I thought it was in my best interest to
take a step back from everything and just focus on my own
website,” Sunderland said, but she soon realized, “I can only
go so far with the momentum that I had built up, so I thought,
who should I work with?”
The answer was easy: sign an exclusive contract with
Brazzers—a move that also brings exposure with Mindgeek’s
other studios. “They have so many brands. ... I knew we could
do a lot of cool and amazing things.”
Before the shutdown, Sunderland got to shoot her fi rst
projects under the new contract: a session with Holly Randall
as the April Twistys Treat of the Month and her fi rst Brazzers
scene.
Titled “Every Last Drop,” her Brazzers debut was directed
by her co-star, Ricky Johnson. In addition to the “cool drone
shots” and sexy voice-overs, the action must have been pretty
heated because, according to Sunderland, “We broke the bed
and broke the bathtub.”
