Another reason I like these
pornos is that the girls are
always the ones in control...
(The basic plot of one of our Harlots movies is: Hot
Schoolgirl Who Is Somehow Over Age 18 Goes To Fancy
Boarding School, Has Sex with Everyone.)
When my partner, Gazzman, launched the Harlots line
years ago, it totally suited him: he’s Scottish, it’s a naughty
schoolgirl series, it’s silly like him, and he likes boobs.
When I came on the scene and we started shooting the
movies for Scarlett Revell Studios, you’d think I’d need a
translator, but I got it immediately. Why? Because I grew
up on Univision.
I was raised in New York and my family spoke Spanish at
home. We didn’t really watch “American” news, because it
was boring, but the newscasters on Univision were often
these busty, drop-dead gorgeous women. And I would
pray for the weather lady to just turn slightly so I could see
her ass (Gazzman’s into boobs; I like asses; we’re a good
couple). So when I got to England and Gazzman brought
me to a Harlots set, it just made sense.
Another reason I like these pornos is that the girls are
always the ones in control. It’s not like a Harvey Weinstein
thing (as of this writing he was just sentenced to 23 years.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy). In the Harlots
movies, the teachers are dumb and the students are
manipulating them. Manipulating them by sticking their
asses out, smoking cigarettes, chewing gum seductively,
unbuttoning too many buttons.
One problem, though, is that not everyone was brought
up on “Benny Hill” or Univision. Because we shoot in
Europe, our Harlots come from all over. Some of them are
traveling from Russia or Prague or Budapest. It’s not like we
can sit them down in front of “Benny Hill” on YouTube and
say, “See? This is why this is funny.” Because sometimes a
girl from Russia will look at the script and just say, “I don’t
see why this is amusing at all.”
And that’s when we say, “Good! Just go with that!”
because an eye roll from a hot girl is universally understood.
