There’s a lot of entertainment in
this all-girl romp about a roller derby
team. Stoya’s the coach and Joanna
Angel is the returning veteran. They
played in tandem as Bruiser and
Crusher and had a fleeting love
relationship; now Joanna wants
back on the team. Together they
are the heart of the movie. (And
Stoya, with barely any makeup, still
has one of the most beautiful faces
ever to grace adult movies.)
The team faces other conflicts.
Young Elsa Jean stammers and gets
bullied by teammates, especially
the obnoxious Gia Paige. Joanna
helps her stand up for herself and
has an altercation with Gia, telling
her they have to be a team, helping
not hurting one another.
Gia and Katrina Jade are the first
to get it on with each other. They
are joined by Carmen Caliente for
some locker room fun and games
in an AVN Award-nominated scene.
Also nommed is the tender and
believable tryst between Joanna
and Stoya.
