is a few minutes away from one of
the busiest freeways in the Valley.
Brad Armstrong is here today to shoot a new Wicked
Pictures feature, Cam Girl. “With the cam girl craze
that’s going on—look at the AVN Show [where several
large booths were filled with cam performers]—I
figured why not capitalize on that?” Armstrong says.
“Online, everybody’s life is fucking fantastic. This is a
look behind the curtain. There are hardships, and there
are issues that they’re dealing with. Kelly’s a single
mom who’s left her small town. The daddy’s gone. She
could have made the easy choice to stay in the small
town, live with her parents, but she decided not to get
trapped. She wants to go to college, doesn’t have the
money, her answer is camming. She’s putting herself
through college and taking care of her baby daughter in
the big city.”

Kristen Scott, who plays Kelly, enters and tries on prop eyeglasses retrieved from a shoebox-size plastic
bin marked CLEAR SMART GLASSES GUYS & GIRLS. The scene coming up involves Kelly and her college
classmate Angela White. “Angela plays another college girl who hears through the grapevine that Kristen is
camming,” Armstrong explains. “At first Kristen says no, because once you do it, it’s there. It can’t be taken
back. Then they have their first cam scene together. Dun dun DUN!” he adds dramatically. “Now you’re a
dirty porn star.”
“The character is someone I can relate to in a lot of ways, because I started getting into this industry by
camming,” Scott says. “When I read the script and I saw that it was about a single mom camming to put
herself through school, I was really excited to be part of something that is genuine and real. That’s my favorite
type of character to play. Not a stepdaughter or babysitter or something like that. Something I can do some
real serious acting with.”

As the techs set up lighting and cameras in the bedroom, White walks in with an armful of freshly washed
silicone toys, asking, “Is there room in the bed for three?” The toys go into a bedside table after the drawer
is carefully lined with paper towels. To simulate a webcam POV, a camera is positioned at the foot of the bed
above a wide-open laptop computer. The camera is set to wide angle and autofocus, and locked on a tripod.
White and Scott run lines as Armstrong watches, working out business. “Toss me the double-ended dildo—
it’ll be floppy and funny,” Scott says. Armstrong advises White on a line: “When you say that, be more scared.
It’s supposed to be your first time.” When they have the scene blocked and ready to shoot, White re-arranges
her clothes. “Time to tuck the titties in,” she says. “Professional!” Scott adds with a grin.
In the scene, White plays the scared neophyte. “What should I do?” she asks Scott. “I wouldn’t worry about
it ... Follow my lead, start slow.” Scott shoos her off the bed and starts the cam show, greeting her regular
viewers by name. As Scott teases the webcam camera, White bites her lower lip, plays with her hair, touches
her breast, betraying fear and excitement at the same time. I hope she’s in frame. When Scott draws White
onto the bed, she plays it the same way, stealing looks at the webcam camera and smiling sheepishly. Scott
gets the viewers to fork out before getting White’s top off (“Tokens equal tittles!”) and when it’s dildo time,
Scott teases more: “If you want it to go deeper, you have to tip more ... All right!” They kiss, Scott’s hands
exploring White’s breasts. She leans down, kisses one. White’s hips undulate, the dildo still inserted. Scott
reaches down, starts fucking her with it. “Hand back!” Armstrong says as a stray hand blocks the camera.
Scott twists the dildo, and White looks up surprised, as if this is a new experience, then lolls her head back as
