KATYA RODRIGUEZ: FAMILY TIES
KATYA RODRIGUEZ ADMITS she was getting tired of
the same routine, juggling three different jobs and
going to school.
“It was really hard,” she recalls. “I just got sick
of it.”
A native of Chicago, she was working at a factory,
waiting tables at Buffalo Wild Wings and modeling
part time. She was also studying to be a nurse
midwife.

“I gave up school and started working a lot,”
Rodriguez continues. “I got tired of that and then I
stopped working for three months and focused on
camming.”
Once she warmed up to camming on Chaturbate
she realized she was making more online than she
was at the three jobs combined. Not to mention,
she knew her sister Veronica Rodriguez had built a
lucrative career in porn.
So in October of last year Katya decided to make
a dramatic change and come to L.A. to give porn a
shot. She hasn’t been back to the Midwest since and
in January got her own place.
“When I got here I was very nervous. I didn’t
know if this is what I really wanted to do but then
after my third shoot I was like this is fun I want to
keep doing it,” Rodriguez says. “I’m really excited
to stay here and work.”
Now 20 years old and represented by Kendra Lust’s Society 15 agency, Katya says she loves porn performing
and wants to make it her career.
“I get to work with a lot of beautiful women,” she says. “I just love having sex with beautiful women and
men. Before I was a cam model and I was used to exposing myself on camera. That just led me to wanting more,
wanting to expose myself in porn and the fact that my sister is in the industry I just wanted to do the same thing
as her and see what it’s like. So far I enjoy it.”
Katya, who was born in Mexico and is half Venezuelan, said she reached out to Veronica for advice before
making the move and big sis came through for her big time.
“I didn’t talk to her as much because we have different moms, so we were living far apart from each other, and
when I talked to her I told her, ‘Hey, I want to do the same thing you’re doing. How do I get in? Tell me about it.’
“And she was surprised that I wanted to do it. Because I was different. I studied a lot. I wanted to be a nurse
and now that she knows that I’m a very sexually active person she’s like, ‘Wow, I want to help you out.’”
Katya continues, “I kept it a secret for a long time—me being sexually active. I wasn’t the way I am now. I’m
not shy to say that I’m sexually active and I like what I’m doing. I don’t care anymore. I don’t care what people
think about me anymore.”
Katya has performed in about 30 scenes so far for studios such as Team Skeet, Reality Kings, Mofos, North Pole,
Brazzers, 21st Sextury and NetVideoGirls, which shot her first sex scene—a boy/girl/girl with Nikki Knightly.
“It was my first time being with a girl,” she says. “It was different but I enjoyed it. I look back to the video and I
had fun.”
Rodriguez says a Halloween scene with Jake Jace called “Bitty Bopper Gets a Scare” for Team Skeet’s
ExxxtraSmall.com was her favorite so far.
“My mood was just insane. I really wanted it,” she says. Katya has also since performed for T eam Skeet’s
POVLife.com and ThisGirlsSucks.com.

Meanwhile, she says her “Stepbrotherly Love” scene with Xander Corvus for Brazzers’ TeensLikeItBig.com was
another strong one.
“It was really fun. It was crazy—like he is insane. He’s on some other level,” Rodriguez says.
Now that she’s settled into performing, “I am more comfortable with having a crowd of people looking at me.”
“And I found a way to squirt—a lot,” Katya adds. “I didn’t know I could do that. I mean I knew I could squirt, just not
insane. Sometimes I can’t even stop. And my G-spot. I know how to control it now. Just working with male talent, I feel more
comfortable working with them. And my acting is way better. I practice.”
Katya thanks her sister for guiding her so well.
“I just feel like she’s helped me a lot and taught me so many things I didn’t even know,” says Katya, who entertained
the crowd with Veronica at her booth at Exxxotica N.J. in November.
“That was my very first event,” Katya recalls, adding that the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January in Las Vegas
was her second. “It was insane, but it was so much fun.”
As she heads into spring, Rodriguez says she’s “a hundred-percent committed to porn” and already working on her
official website. “I still don’t know my logo or anything like that, but I’m thinking about a lot of things. It will launch this
year,” she says.
When she isn’t on set, she’s probably at the gym—sometimes twice a day—or practicing her pole dancing. Katya says
she wouldn’t mind doing a scene with Kendra Lust, the head of Society 15 and reigning AVN MILF Performer of the Year.
“I want to do a mom scene with her,” Katya says. “... I want to shoot her for my website.”
Rodriguez has already worked with Monique Alexander for Reality Kings and Jasmine Summers for Strokies.
“I did the blowjob scene with her. But I got to make out with her after. That was pretty fun,” Katya says. “And I worked
with Cherie DeVille. I did a boy/girl/girl for Third Degree.”
At press time Katya also said Gina Valentina and Jill Kassidy were on her list of girls to do.
“I have a lot of girls. I’m a lesbo,” she jokes. “I was always bi-curious. I didn’t want to be bi-curious because I was like, ‘No
that’s not me, that’s weird.’ But then when I experienced it I was like, ‘Oh my god, what am I talking about? I really love it.’”
