“They didn’t know what to expect from me and
I was very thankful they were willing to be the first
company to book me,” Gold says. “The chemistry and
the dynamic in the scene is absolutely beautiful and
one thing I liked about him is he allowed me to be
myself because I can be very submissive, but I can also
be very dominant.
“And he’s the only guy who let me smack him, ever,
in my personal life or on camera. And the thrill of that
was exciting. I absolutely loved it. I didn’t know I was
capable of doing anything that I did during the scene
until I did that scene. Like everything was just kind of
carnal instinct, which helped make it beautiful.”
Speaking of instinct, the 23-year-old went with her
gut again in her second scene—a triple blowjob for
Throated with Chloe Couture and Leigh Raven; Isiah
Maxwell was the lucky recipient.
“Mind you I had never deep-throated in my life so
shooting for a company called Throated I was kind of
freaking out,” Gold admits.
“The day that I had to do the scene I saw how big
because I come from a household where sexuality is looked
down on. Because I’m a very sexually suppressed person,
believe it or not. And when I got a taste of that freedom I
ran with it.”
Before porn, Gold dated adult performer Donny Sins, who
introduced her to former Spiegler Girl Skin Diamond.
“I met her at a fashion show. But he introduced me to
many different girls and I had no idea that I would actually
be in the industry because they would always tell me, ‘Don’t
go into porn. Don’t go into porn.’ And I got curious about
it,” Gold adds.
Finally, she decided to go for it, researching different
agencies and reading online forums to get a feel for who’s
who. She says she emailed Spiegler “on a whim” with the
thought she had nothing to lose by trying.
“He emailed me back and I remember when I got that
email I was just screaming in my room like oh my god this
really happened! It was unbelievable because of the wait list
he has and so many girls I’ve heard want to work for him,”
Gold says.
She and Spiegler didn’t make it official until the AVN
White Party in January in Las Vegas.
“And for the first time in a long time in my life people
actually acknowledged that I was alive in the room. It was
crazy,” Gold says.
Isiah was and I was like, ‘Hell no! No, this is not gonna
work.’ But I guess in the heat of the moment when
they start rolling the camera I’m able to actually go
from ‘normal me’ to Honey Gold. It’s like having an
alter ego. I’m able to become someone else in front of
the camera and I realized I’m able to do things that I
can’t normally do in my personal life. Because I’m the
type of person that wants to put forth the best possible
effort that I can to make sure that it’s a good scene.”
Gold took on veteran Spanish stud Ramon Nomar
in her fourth sex scene, which was for Axel Braun—
which at the time of this interview was thus far all she
had done.
“The fourth one was for Axel and I’m a huge
fan of Axel Braun. I love all of his parodies. I
really didn’t know what to expect because Axel
thought it would be funny to tell Ramon to speak
to me in Spanish the entire time,” she says.
“So that scene was absolutely amazing
because it’s a lot easier to do a really great scene
when somebody actually wants to fuck you and
they’re not afraid to show it because I know I’m
not everyone’s cup of tea. There’s going to be
someone that won’t want to work with me and
I’ll deal with that when I get there.”
Gold says her exotic look leaves many people
guessing.
“I’m half Cantonese, Black, Cherokee Indian,
Mongolian and Irish. I’m pretty much Blasian,”
she says. “I think I look Filipino, though.”
She did various jobs before finding nude
modeling, including graphic design, medical
billing, working at a weed dispensary and in a fast
food joint. But she found that the 9-to-5 grind
made her miserable.
“People always told me, ‘You have unique
features—why don’t you give modeling a try?’”
Gold had been approached by representatives
from The Gap and American Apparel but
didn’t take the next step until she created a
ModelMayhem page.
“I realized I suck at modeling with clothes
on,” she jokes.
So through ModelMayhem she
experimented with a couple nude shoots.
“The first time I did it I was so nervous
but it was the most liberating feeling in
the world,” Gold recalls. “And it was
empowering
Now Gold wants to take her porn
career as far as she can.
“I am committing everything
I have to this,” she says. “I can
definitely say that there’s no
going back. I thought a lot about
doing this and I want to see how
far I can push myself. I have the
best agent in the game and I’m
open-minded to wherever he’s
going to steer me.
“I just want to be as successful
as possible and I know that comes
with a lot of hard work and motivation
and I’m going to give all of that to this
because that’s how passionate I am
about it. So I’m in it to win it. Hopefully
one day I become a nice little MILF.”
