Mick Blue, other veterans create FuckingAwesome content
MICK BLUE SAYS THE GOAL BEHIND FuckingAwesome.com
is simple.
“First of all, we are shooting everything in 4K so
the goal is to do the website with the highest standard
possible,” Blue tells AVN. “Every scene has specific
storylines and lead-ins to it.”
Blue is the main producer/director for the ambitious
new site, which has been in beta launch and is open to
the public with no less than 16 full-length sex scenes—
all available in 4K ultra-HD for free—with more on the
way.
Not only are the scenes available to stream in 4K, they

also feature some of the most sought-after performers in the business.
“The scenes are very story based and detail oriented, completely different from what I usually do, which is
mainly gonzo stuff,” says Blue, a busy director in addition to being AVN’s reigning Male Performer of the Year.
“We try to get the top girls possible,” says Blue, who is directing about eight scenes a month for the
Panama-based site with help from one of the industry’s most reliable go-to videographers, Sal Genoa.
FuckingAwesome will continue with free weekly updates during its beta phase until at least July 1—after
that the site will begin rolling out one new premium episodic series per month that will be available on a
subscription basis.
“Like a Netflix approach,” says Fucking Awesome CMO Brad John.
One of the first series is centered on the fictitious Fucking Awesome dating app.
“For example the girls are having a girls day or a girls night hanging out together, drinking wine and they
are chatting about their lives and then somehow they find out one of them is using the FuckingAwesome
dating app. So they start messaging the guys,” Blue explains.
Naturally, the conversation leads to a threesome.
“We are shooting in total about 12 episodes of the Fucking Awesome dating app and every scene
incorporates that theme,” Blue says.
The ownership team behind FuckingAwesome brings more than 20 years of adult industry experience to the
site with a track record of success with numerous amateur niches. They worked closely with Blue on various
ventures for the past five-plus years before asking him to take a leadership role with FuckingAwesome.
Though the focus of the site for now is on established American porn stars, plans call for expanding to
shoot top performers in countries such as Czech Republic and Germany.
“We have this idea to do scenes around the world, with like who will be the biggest porn star of Colombia
or the biggest porn star of Czech? And try to showcase what the world has to offer,” Brad John says.
Justin Lally, a seasoned porn shooter with Reality Kings and BangBros, is also directing scenes for
FuckingAwesome, John notes.
Meanwhile the FuckingAwesome exec says the site is installing technology he claims is an industry first.
“We’re implementing the possibility to Chromecast the streaming files in 4K,” John says. “So you can
Chromecast it in 4K and AirPlay straight from your phone or tablet in HD.”
Chromecast is a media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV and allows you to use
your mobile device and the TV to stream movies and more. It works with iPhone, iPad, Android phone and
tablet and Mac and Windows laptops.
John says his team also spent numerous hours testing the site on every web browser and platform. “That’s
something that also sets us a bit apart—it’s very smooth on any device. It doesn’t matter which platform.”
“We’re definitely in the game for the long run,” Blue says. “The goal is to take the whole thing to the next
level.”
