What do you think of the term ‘MILF’?
Vicky Vette: From the day I started they called me
a MILF. I kept asking them not to because I don’t
have any children. I suggested they call me mature,
since I was 38 when I started. I finally stopped
arguing and gave up. I apparently had no choice in
the matter. I think it’s way overused. Porners had
to further confuse the issue and call 18-year-olds
MILFs because they do have children. So I guess
it’s synonymous with hot housewife? You hear
mainstream people use the phrase too: MILF = 30s.
Cougar = 40s and 50s? And panther = 60+?
Nina Elle: I don’t consider myself a MILF, but that
genre is very popular and it keeps me busy so I don’t
have a problem with it. I like my role as the “older
woman” because I get to play with all the hot young
guys and girls and be the dominant one.
Cherie DeVille: Even though I’m not a mom the
acronym is still relevant! It’s all about being a super
sexual fuckable older woman. I’m no spring chicken!!
I think 37 is a good age for a MILF. Basically I think
you have to be old enough to have teenage kids with
horny friends who fantasize about fucking you.
Mindi Mink: I’m actually totally fine with either
one. It doesn’t bother me at all. Especially because
I truly am a mother. I’m 47 now, so being classified
as a cougar or a MILF is a compliment. I don’t
think people use those words for women unless
they’re sexually desirable. Especially now that I’m
filming not just with Girlfriends Films, where I was
exclusive for about a year and a half, I know other
companies are looking for MILFs, so it will help
me get more bookings. So far I’ve worked with Jodi
West of Forbidden Fruits Films, and my first scene
is out on AEBN. I’m also shooting with Girlfriends
again in May and I’ve been talking with Reality
Kings, Girlsway and Sweetheart Video about some
bookings. I’m still going to do just doing girl/girl,
but there’s still a need for MILF and cougar women
in those older/younger titles that sell so well. So
label me away.
What was first, MILF porn or pop-culture
MILFs?
Julia Ann: The title might not have been there, but
there’s always been a fascination with older women.
My godmother actually is a mainstream actress,
Gigi Perreau, and to me, she was one of the original
MILFs because in The Brady Bunch, I think it was Peter
who had a crush on his teacher, and she was the
teacher, and she was with a famous baseball player
in it or something like that, so she was one of the
first older women to be seen as sexually attractive.
And then you had Class Act with Jacqueline Bisset.
... So this has existed. I think what had to happen
[in porn] was timing. ... The girls had to age into it.
You had to have a combination of porn acceptance,
adult content acceptance in the mainstream; you had
to have more women who were interested in getting
into it. ... There’s a certain amount of legitimacy that
had to happen in order for the people to show up, in
order for the women to age into the role, because we
didn’t have the women aged into the role. And now
we have a plethora.
What are your favorite movies to
perform in?
Cherie DeVille: I love older/younger “teach
me” movies. I get to be dominant while still
remaining sensual.
Nina Elle: I like to perform in hardcore gonzo scenes
and in anything that’s different and fun.
Brandi Love: I honestly don’t have a “favorite” type
of movie. I’m a variety girl! ... What I can tell you,
however, is that I love working with men and women
who have as much passion for sex, and for the scene,
as I do. I really care about how a scene makes the
viewer feel. I want them to feel how ravenous I am.
Julia Ann: I’m not much into the costumes, but I do
like dialog, so if it’s a very funny scenario, I really
enjoy that. When I get to play somebody with a billy
club and I get to abuse my authority, I like that. I’ve
done BDSM, worked for Kink, but I wasn’t on the
dominant side. ... In the everyday films, I’m usually
the aggressor, so yeah, I like it when I get to abuse
my power a little bit.
Jodi West: I don’t like anything that exploits or
victimizes women in any way. If it’s obvious
that the performer enjoys what she’s doing, then I’m
all for that. But if she is obviously doing the scene
for a paycheck, then it’s a no for me. As far as what
I like, I really enjoy the subtle domination of MILF
movies. ... Whether it’s the stepmother, the boss or
the neighbor, it’s all the same subtle domination that
only an older woman can provide.
Mindi Mink: I really love being the dominant older
woman when I’m with the young girls, and it fits
with my personality and my style. I like to be in
control. I haven’t gotten to do a lot of filming with
women over 30, and when I did I really enjoyed
those scenes the best (except for my dream scene of
all time, with Dani Daniels). ... I really like filming
with women who are 30 and above, and don’t think
there’s enough of that happening. I am continually
asked by Julia Ann and Syren De Mer?” But with older women
I don’t feel so much the need to be in control. I
wouldn’t mind being dommed by a really sexy
woman—it just hasn’t happened yet.
