Adult entertainment is always about the next big thing—
and often that thing is fresh out of high school. But as the
“most popular” lists on VOD/retail sites such as AEBN,
Adult Empire, Gamelink and HotMovies attest, many
consumers prefer stars who bring a bit of life experience

to their performances. In 2009, AVN put the spotlight on
“How MILFs Became the Hottest Genre in Adult.” In the
ensuing years, the popularity of the category has
continued unabated, even augmented by the growth in
“fauxcest” storylines and the popularity of older woman/
younger girl content. Call them MILFs, cougars or
hotwives, the seasoned stars featured in these movies are
some of the most articulate voices in the industry. And we
thought it was high time to listen to their words of wisdom.
