Also represented at the show courtesy of display sponsor Entrenue were
a variety of high-end brands in the showcases at the entrance to the Elegant
Angel Tower. Buyers got to see some of the new items carried by Entrenue
as well as its most popular toys, presented as “A Lesson in Five Chapters”:
Books, Sexcessories, Apothecary, Fashion & Fetish and Just for Fun. Among
the brands were Crave, Bijoux Indiscrets, Exsens, Fun Factory and Hot
Octopuss. (Go to Entrenue.com.)
In addition to distributors, there were many manufacturers that offer a
broad spectrum of products. Joydivision returned to ANE after making a
splash at last year’s show. Still getting plenty of attention was the XPander
products, named Best Non-Powered Product at AVN’s 2016 “O” Awards.
The pieces are designed to improve prostate health and boost
orgasms for men. The XPanders stretch out once inserted to provide a
more filing sensation and to better reach and stimulate the prostate.

Impulse Novelties was also a major presence on the show floor, and
representatives talked up the Closet Collection and the Back Door product
line. Rather than just create G-spot or external stimulators, Impulse offers
an array of pleasure products designed to be used in a variety of ways. The
Closet Collection continues to impress retailers and consumers since the
products are organized by personality to better match the buyer. (Visit

Curve Novelties—one of the newest manufacturers in the industry—
made their inaugural appearance at ANE, and impressed visitors to their
booth with their newest collection Gossip. The Gossip line features
powerful bullet vibes and egg-shaped vibes coated in bright silicone molded
into various shapes. The Bounce, Whirl, and Groove all come in purple,
pink and teal and boast four escalating speeds and wired remote controls.
The Adore, Charm, Desire, Tease and Excite massagers come in the same
color options, but boast three speeds and four functions all reached through
a push-button control on the base. (Go to CurveToys.com.)
Shots America, the U.S. branch of one of Europe’s biggest brands, offers
more than 1,900 SKUs, many of which were not previously available here.
Also showcased were two new collections: Vive, a line of luxury massagers
and vibrators designed with unique features and streamlined shapes, and
Sono, a collection for men that features an assortment of cock rings, penis
sleeves and butt plugs. (Visit ShotsAmerica.com.)
A number of exhibitors were new to the marketplace and looking to make
a mark. Making a foray into pleasure toys is adult studio Jules Jordan Video.
Given that Jordan is a stickler for glossy, high-end adult entertainment,
it’s not surprising to see the same approach in toys. Named Clandestine
Devices, the new company debuted with the Mimic, a clitoral stimulator
offered in three colors with eight vibration settings. Director of Sales
Kimberly Faubel expressed pleasure at interest in the product, noting that
