But Wood noted, “You don’t need to be a stunna
to be a top name. Or young and fresh. A lot of the
older girls are bringing it in.”
“They all watch each other and are learning from
each other,” Rekevics added, noting that Streamate
does not do exclusive agreements with models
“because it’s almost impossible to enforce.”
“My goal is to offer them a platform that makes
them the most,” she said.
Lara said camming is not unlike TV; it’s crucial
to continue evolving.
“You wouldn’t want to watch the same TV show
over and over again,” Lara reasoned.
She said there are plenty of inexpensive ways to
do that, including doing a black light show.
“People pour into those rooms,” Lara said.
Perez suggested camming with interactive toys is
“the next step” in live cams.
The traffic panel capped off the day in impressive
fashion as a packed house watched Webquest
VP Eric Helsel lead an all-star panel through the
session titled “Master’s Class: How to Become a
Traffic Heavyweight.”
Jimmy “Wizzo” Foreman (JuicyAds), Kelan Stone
(Grand Slam Media), Remi St. Maur (TrafficStars),
Lee Robinson (ExoClick) and Trevor Lakier
(Mistral Society) threw down lots of knowledge
on buying, selling and analyzing traffic during the
fast-paced session.
The 18-year industry vet Wizzo noted that traffic
is a serious investment and one must be prepared
to lose some money in order to gain the data
necessary to realize profits in the long run.
“Adapt or die is really what it comes down to,”
Wizzo said.
All agreed that retargeting is one of the best
ways to optimize traffic.
“Retargeting is a huge component of scaling,”
Helsel noted.
Fun and Gains Entertainment (opposite page, clockwise from
top left) included the Mojohost/Cam4/Paxum warm-up party, the
Affil4you/JuicyAds “Boobs, Booze & Bowling” bash in the Real World
Suite, a chance to pose with stars Monique Alexander and Nikki
Benz courtesy of TrafficJunky, and the VIP Live Jasmin Experience
in the HRH Tower. Other events (this page, clockwise from top left)
included a panel on social media, the Traffic Dinner, a get-together at
the Hofbrauhaus, the Bloody Marys & Mimosas Lounge, myriad VR
demos, a football party in Mr. Skin’s suite, panels on dating and traffic,
and a presentation by TrafficHaus on its ReviveAds service.
As the panels wound down, some Internext
attendees prepared for the annual invite-only CEO
Dinner and VIP Live Jasmin Experience set for later
that evening.
Day 3
Internext concluded with some of the leading
executives in digital media offering a few words
of wisdom as the “Future Forecast” panel wound
down on January 18.
“Continue coming to shows like this one and get
out of your shell,” Netbilling president Mitch Farber
recommended to the crowd packed into the Monterey
Room inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
“Don’t get stuck in your existing model,” said
Brian Shuster, founder of Utherverse and Holofilm
Productions.

The president of VS Media, Greg Clayman,
emphasized “mobile responsiveness” for your web
presence, while FriendFinder CEO Jonathan Buckheit
pointed to “intelligent traffic analytics” as a crucial
factor in moving your business forward.
Shay Efron, the VP of sales and marketing for
Pussycash and ImLive, ended his remarks on a lighter
note, saying, “Be transparent. Be loyal. And don’t do
drugs. But if you do drugs, do them with me.”
The heavyweight panel—which also featured
MojoHost founder Brad Mitchell and Revolution
Force CEO Sean Christian and was moderated by
Wasteland’s Colin Rowntree—turned into one of
the highlights of the final day of the Expo, bringing
together more than 140 years of combined experience
on the Internext stage.
Revolution Force’s Christian said it’s important
to focus on “ad technology, big data, user flow and
correct billing.”
Mitchell, whose hosting company has been on top
of its game for more than a decade, acknowledged
the remarkable growth of the live cam sector of
adult entertainment, noting that his client base now
includes several different cam companies.
Buckheit revealed his company is going to do a 3D
live cam site this year.
The conversation shifted largely to the emergence
and viability of virtual reality content in the coming
months.
“VR is going to be transformative for cams,”
HoloFilm’s Shuster predicted. “It’s going to be
interesting when we see what happens.”
Shuster added, “VR has finally arrived after half a
dozen false starts.” He said that people may not be
paying for porn much anymore, but they are willing to
pay for “new kinds of experiences.”
