PLEASURE PRODUCTS
Carol Queen Shares
Good Vibes With
Marie Claire
Sex educator Carol Queen, who works
for the Good Vibrations group of adult
boutiques, shared a list of her top 10
vibrators with the women’s magazine
Marie Claire, and also explained why each
was selected.
Most of the items were from boutique
manufacturers, several of them based
in Good Vibes’ home base, the San
Francisco Bay Area. But one was Southern
California’s own Jopen, maker of the Aries
Waterproof Finger Vibrator in the Key By
Jopen collection.
Jopen CEO Susan Colvin said, “Being
named as one of the top 10 vibrators by
Marie Claire is quite an honor. Key by
Jopen is a luxurious, yet fun collection of
massagers offering premium Shin Etsu
Silicone surfaces with stylish waterproof
designs.”
The Key by Jopen Aries is a finger
massager that puts powerful pleasure
and five patterns of vibration at the users’
fingertips. The finger cradles make this
ambidextrous massager easy to use.
In addition to two items from Pleasure
Works (Good Vibes’ wholesale division)—
the Pleasurette Mini Waterproof Vibrator
and the G-Swirl Smartvibe—Queen’s picks
included Fun Factory’s Amorino, LELO’s
Gigi 2 Rechargeable Vibrator, the Tango
from We-Vibe, Crave’s Vesper vibrator,
the Womanizer Rechargeable Clitoral
Stimulator, and two models from Vibratex:
the Rabbit Habit Original Deluxe Vibrator
and the Magic Wand.

Shots Adds Bottom Line Collection
Shots America has debuted the
Bottom Line collection of anal
plugs as the newest addition to
the manufacturer’s product range.
The Bottom Line is a collection
of 88 plugs in seven different
shapes, four sizes and four colors.
The plugs range from 4- to 7-inch
sizes and come in skin and black
for the rubber plugs, transparent
for the glass plugs and red for the
acrylic plugs.
To ensure customers will notice
the packaging when walking into
a store, Shots America is using a
new technique called laser cutting.
This allows the manufacturer to
design and cut out appealing patterns and edges
in the packaging without losing stability. The newly
shaped window allows customers to see the full shape
of the plug. The type of plug can be recognized by
its own color-coordinated packaging
showing the product material, model
and size on the front.
Another unique point-of-sale for
the Bottom Line range is the suction
cup. With a pulling power of up to
14 pounds, it allows users to attach
the plug to almost any flat surface
imaginable.
The Bottom Line range comes with
brand signs, posters, displays, testers
and an extensive catalogue. Shots
America’s in-house design studio is also
available when it comes to creating
unique marketing materials for clients,
upon request. Contact a sales manager
and decide together on one-of-a-kind
publicity materials.
The complete Bottom Line range is now available
and in stock. For more information, visit ShotsAmerica.

CalExotics Wins Packaging Awards
Pleasure product manufacturing giant
CalExotics was recognized with two
awards from the 45th Creativity Print
and Packaging Awards. The Silhouette
and Kits collections both were honored
for their innovative packaging.
The Creativity International Design
Awards have been judging graphic
design excellence since 1970. The
awards are broken down into two
categories: media and interactive
along with print and packaging. The
awards span a variety of genres and
have honored many large brands,
including Whole Foods, MTV, Coca-
Cola and many others.
CalExotics founder and CEO Susan Colvin said, “It
is an incredible honor to be in the same category as
Coca-Cola and MTV. We strive to provide exceptional
products and that includes inventive packaging.
Thank you to the judges for these prestigious awards.”
Items in the Kits collection are segmented into three
categories: His, Hers and Ours. The Kits
packaging helps spark the imagination
of its users and helps build excitement.
Silhouette features seductive curves
and ergonomically advanced shapes.
The Silhouette packaging is durable
and doubles as a keepsake storage
box. It offers reverse merchandising
capabilities with a design on one side
and a window display on the other.
“The Kits and Silhouette collections
are very popular with our customers.
They love the designs, functions and
of course, the packaging. We’ve seen
such a demand for these products that
we have something special planned
for the upcoming ANME show. I can’t give too much
away but I can say that you don’t want to miss our
both at the show,” says Jackie White, Vice President of
CalExotics.
