The French adult star speaks with AVN while getting molded at Topco
Laly, the French performer who also was Penthouse’s
Pet of the Month for February of this year, took time
from her busy schedule to stop by the Topco Sales
offices to get herself molded for the company’s line of
sex toys.
As she endured the process of getting molded, Laly
shared the details of her journey into the world of
adult, and what she has plans for the future. While
spread-eagle on a table and having goop poured into
her most delicate areas, Laly took turns live tweeting
about the experience to her fans and answering
questions for AVN.
“I got here this morning and signed the paperwork,
then someone handed me a robe and said, ‘Get
naked,’” she said with a smile about the start of her
day. “I said, ‘OK!’ and removed all my clothing and then
they started molding me. Right now it feels very hot! It
is warm. It almost feels like an alien, I don’t know.”
Considering Laly barely spoke English when she
moved to the U.S. a few years ago, she has made big
strides in her career in a short amount of time. But it’s
how she started in adult that most people find
fascinating.
After working as an exotic dancer for a few years,
Laly decided to pursue a career in law enforcement.
After four years on the force, she took time off to
appear on the hit reality show Secret Story, which is
similar to the show Big Brother. One of the highest-rated shows in France, Secret Story
puts several strangers in a house together where they live for two months and try to pry
secrets out of their temporary roomates.
After Laly kept her secret (she was a beautiful police officer who also worked as an
exotic dancer), she exited the house only to find out she had a huge fan base.
“When you’re inside, you have no idea what’s going on,” she said. “People were
interested in me.”
So interested, it turned out, that for some time after her TV stint, there were tabloid
newspapers touting the existence of a sex tape featuring Laly and her then-boyfriend/
now-husband, adult performer Tristan Segal. The problem? No such tape existed.
Laly said she and Tristan ignored the press speculation about such a tape for a time,
but when it didn’t go away, she decided to take a bold step.
“I didn’t want to make a sex tape, but I thought if people wanted to see something like
that, I would make a real porn movie,” she said.
The pair approached Marc Dorcel and made The Story
of Laly, which is still a top-selling title in France.
As she changed positions several times so that
everything from her labia to her breasts could be covered
in the goop that would mold every detail of her body for
Topco’s Penthouse Pets line of products, Laly discussed
how she has moved up in the industry.
After the success of The Story of Laly, she made a few
more movies before taking the leap into directing.
“I wanted to create movies that were beautiful,” she
said. “I wanted to make movies where people were having
beautiful sex.”
Directing and continuing to model allowed her and
Tristan to move to Las Vegas, where she continues her
adult career and also will take on the role of resident DJ at
the Hustler Club.
But she has no plans to stop her adult career, and she
made that clear as she waited for the goop to harden
between her legs.
“It feel funny, but it’s not strange to see myself in the
mold,” she said. “It’s my pussy—I see it every day!”
After her observations about the molding, she quickly
goes back to discussing her career.
“I like the industry here in America a lot better,” she
said. “The people are funnier and cooler. In France, they
are all so straight. “I will be directing movies for
Penthouse starting next month. I love directing movies; it’s really interesting. I’m a
professional and I don’t like to be fake, so it’s really important for me to be real and
make my movies like that.”
Laly was not the only Penthouse Pet to make the trek to Topco’s Chatsworth offices.
Adrianna Luna (November 2012) and Marica Hase (January 2013) were slathered in
molding material as well. And coming soon from Topco will be three handheld dual-
