Nick Hawk Debuts New CalExotics’ Nick Hawk Gigolo line was

Hawk mingled with adoring fans
at Hustler Hollywood on April
25, visiting the store on the
famed Sunset Strip in Los
Angeles to to officially launch
his line of sex toys to the
general public.
“We announced the line a few
months ago, so everyone in the
industry has been aware of it for
some time, but now it’s shipping
to stores and showing up on
shelves for Nick’s fans,” said
Desiree Duffie, director of public
relations at CalExotics, the
company that manufactured the
22 sex toys for the standout star of Showtime’s Gigolos
series.
The first 100 guests to the event were treated to gift
bags with cups, pens, keychains and coupons to
Hustler Hollywood. They also were given chips to play
on the blackjack tables, courtesy of Hustler Casino, for
even more prizes. Free champagne flowed as
attendees mingled before the star himself arrived, and

Once Hawk arrived, he posed for pictures on the red
carpet outside the Sunset Boulevard retail store, and
then ventured inside to pose for pictures and sign
autographs.
“It’s been amazing so far,” he said of the
development, creation and launch of the toy line, which
boasts everything from whips and Kegel balls to a
blow-up doll featuring his face and tattoos to a dildo
with movable balls, molded from his own package.
“I’m excited to see what my fans think of the line,”
he continued. “Everyone has been so cool about it.”
Hawk had a hand in creating and developing
each of the products, but said he is most proud of
the dildo.
“I put the most work into the Sex Positions book,
but I am really proud of the dildo,” he said.

LELO Launches Search for New Designs
LELO has launched the LELO Design Award 2013, part of the brand’s 10
Years of Pleasure anniversary celebrations. The event invites designers
and artists worldwide to present groundbreaking products or
experiences that tackle the lesser used senses, such as smell, hearing
and taste.
There are two separate awards categories: Fashion & Accessories
and Products & Spaces. Judges include LELO CEO Miroslav Slavic and Art Director Sila Songkran, eminent
design duo Lanzavecchia + Wai and award-winning film director Erika Lust.
The competition has been advertised and promoted in design schools across four continents. Applicants
should submit their work by August 1, and the five best projects will be exhibited at October’s London
Design Week, as well as the LELO homepage.
“Sleek, sophisticated design has been part of LELO’s DNA since we started our mission 10 years ago;
we’re now thrilled to help redefine the future of pleasure by giving up-and-coming designers the chance to
present their original design concepts on a global stage,” Slavic said.
