COMING ATTRACTION
Hungry Hearts John Stagliano’s ‘Voracious: Season 2’ again premieres on EvilAngel.com
T
he follow-up to Voracious, John
Stagliano’s much-hailed vampire mini-
series, fittingly kicked off on Halloween.
The installment debuted on
EvilAngel.com, which is part of the
FameDollars affiliate program.
Voracious: Season Two, like its AVN Award-winning
predecessor, is being presented prior to DVD release
in multiple online installments, beginning with “It’s
Male Performer of the Year James Deen, Wolf Hudson and Digital Playground contract girl Stoya, on unprecedented
“loan” to Stagliano for this project.
“I am lost in the delusion that people might want to see my porn expressed in a story, perhaps involving them on the
most visceral level,” Stagliano said. “This looks different. It’s dark. You may think the camera moves too much. I know it
does. But this is what I was trying to shoot.”
Shot in San Francisco, “It’s Dangerous Out Here” offers plenty of depravity, Stagliano hinted: “San Francisco is a great
place to find sexual adventure. Wolf Hudson really should be more careful. Stoya’s ass and face intrigue. Anikka Albrite
makes the mistake of succumbing to James Deen. If only eternal life was really eternal. Vampires do have a weakness.”
Also like the first season, Voracious: Season Two divided production between California and Eastern Europe. Lea Lexis
Dangerous Out Here,” starring Anikka Albrite, AVN
and Rocco Siffredi both return to the series, with A-list performer Skin Diamond joining the cast as well.
“From a marketing point of view, Evil Angel has paved the way for a new
approach to releasing big movies,” Evil Angel general manager Christian Mann
commented. “We were the first to release a movie in serialized webisodes as a
huge value added to our online membership. The anticipation for each new
episode was palpable. When the last episode aired simultaneously with the release
of the deluxe DVD set, we found that many fans had purchased both. For season
two, we’re adopting that same approach, but with an additional tier: a special set
of multi-episode mini-premieres for third-party VOD. We’re offering something
exclusive for our partners in every distribution platform.”
Added FameDollars director Magalie Rheault, “Having seen the popularity
that the first season of Voracious generated amongst our members, I was really
happy to hear that John was continuing with a second season. Having an
exclusive window on EvilAngel.com is the cherry on top for our members. We’re
proud to be working with Evil Angel in bringing this outstanding movie to their
official website. Of course, anyone who would like to send traffic specifically to
Voracious: Season Two will have access to special promo tools.”
Season two maintains the artistic, technical and erotic standards achieved in
the first season, which earned the project 17 AVN Award nominations and won
it several trophies, including Best Web Premiere. It went on to be named Best
Epic by the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO).
On his participation in Voracious: Season Two, James Deen told AVN, “It was
one of the greatest honors of my career to perform for John Stagliano in one of
his features, especially next to Rocco Siffredi. It is very nice to be involved in
projects that are full of passion and remind me why I always wanted to be part of
the adult film industry.”
The next episode of Voracious 2 is set for release December 27 on
EvilAngel.com. Until January 1, AVN readers can use the promo code voracious2
