parody of the loved classic television comedy, and it’s a great
effort overall. AVN ’s MILF/Cougar Performer of the Year, India
Summer, is spot-on as Morticia, the goth witch dream MILF,
and Dick Chibbles does a fine job as Lurch, the family butler.

Comp This Ain’t The Artist XXX

We’ll tell you what else this ain’t: an
actual parody of The Artist . What it is,
however, is a very cleverly cobbled
together mash-up of VCA scenes both
old and reallyold re-edited in black and
white and scored with old-timey ragtime
tunes, all in an effort to cash in on the
popularity of this year’s silent Oscar
darling. Most of the scenes are taken
from 2006’s Pin-Up Pussyand 1994’s
Paging Betty . The one scene with cover
girl Katie Morgan comes from 2005’s
Dirty Movie , and it’s the standout: a
lengthy and impassioned g/g opposite
Sammie Rhodes. Fans of Golden Age
fare can enjoy some footage of the
recently departed Kandi Barbour in the
opening four-girl romp (the other three
being Marlene Willoughby, Deborah
Grant and Marcia Minor) from 1980’s
Pink Ladies . Perhaps the most interest-
ing thing about this, though (or at least
the most crafty), is that it’s actually got
somewhat of a storyline, as told
through scratchy film-look text cards,
involving hard-up Hollywood starlet
Selina St. Claire getting into “sex films”
in order to pay her overdue rent. Now
that’s what we call artistry!
