what she learned during her first semester. What class the paper is
for (Going to College 101?) never gets divulged, but no matter.
Over four “chapters,” we see her and best pal Skin Diamond arrive
on campus, try to join a snooty sorority of tall Amazonian girls
headed by Vanessa Cage, get rejected, instead join a sorority of
lesser-than petite girls, hatch a revenge plan on the tall-girl sorority,
challenge them to a final battle of bikini car washing, and in the
end absorb the important life lesson that “beauty comes in all
shapes and sizes.”
Also, Marie hallucinates throughout the movie that she’s seeing
Victoria Rae Black all over the place, and keeps effusing about how
beautiful she is and how she wishes she was just like her. She even
fantasizes that they have sex at one point. Of course, she has lots of
actual sex with non-imaginary people, too, including two boy/girl
sessions with love interest Seth Dickens and a lesbian three-way
with Skin and Katie St. Ives.
A good majority of the sex, as a matter of fact, is lesbian—and
you’ll find no complaints about that here. Among the most incendi-
ary displays of such are another three-way between Ashley Jane,
Leilani Leeanne and Riley Reid; yet another one with Skin, Zoey
Kush and Hayden Hawkens; and the show-stopping pair-up (which
includes some roof-rattling tribbing) of Celeste Star and Sativa Verte.
Speaking of Celeste, she really gives the standout performance,
acting-wise, of the entire troupe. As a performer whose talents have

indeed, for a company that pre-
viously speculated only in ultra-

low-budget, pro-am, mostly spe-
cialty fare. Borne of the ATK
Petites series from AMKingdom
progenitor Amateur Teen
Kingdom (the AMK label was
created to serve as the studio’s
features branch), ROTP is a
charming throwback/homage to
raunch-coms of the ’70s and ’80s
like (most overtly) Revenge of the
Nerds, Animal House and Fast
Times at Ridgemont High. And
with its abounding cast of hot-
ties, all of whom get far wilder
(not to mention nakeder) than
anyone in those films ever con-
templated, it’s likely to pull in
many a customer.
Marie McCray (whose charac-
ter, like everyone’s, shares her
name) stars as a college freshman
tasked with the nebulous assign-
ment of writing a term paper on
always been relegated to girl/girl roles, she hasn’t been given many
opportunities to show off her thespian chops, but here, playing the
leading defector from the tall antago-
nists to the petites, she shines.
For all its giant flights of nonsensi-
cal fancy (e.g., is Marie is clinically
insane?), Revenge of the Petites is a lot
of infectious fun, from its almost
unnervingly catchy retro theme song,
to its genre-appropriate montages, to
its occasionally sharp zingers about
being height-challenged.
Add to that the monumental mar-
keting push that’s been placed behind
it, and what you’ve got is one of the
absolute must-see adult motion
pictures of 2012.
