Big Toys for Big Boys Life-sized masturbators are becoming all the rage in the industry
At some point in every boy’s life, he learns to masturbate. And once he figures out
how good it feels to touch himself, it’s not long before he decides it might feel even
better if he had something besides a sock to wrap around his junk.
Masturbators have long been a staple of the pleasure products industry, with strokers
being the dominant toy to stock when catering to male shoppers. Manufacturers have pro-
duced myriad silicone and TPE sleeves, equipped with ribbing, pleasure beads and other
textural enhancements. They’ve made compact and discreet portable stro-
kers, such as the Head Honcho from California Exotic Novelties
and the always popular Fleshlight. And several companies,
including Doc Johnson and Topco Sales, have been mold-
ing porn performers’ privates for some time now to create
a lifelike experience.
But to produce a lifesize experience, there’s Pipedream
Products, the adult novelty manufacturer that has
grabbed industry and mainstream headlines with the
introduction of its Pipedream Extreme line of Fuck Me
Silly masturbators.
“It started as a goof,” Pipedream Products CEO Nick
Orlandino said of the creation of the first Fuck Me Silly Mega Masturbator a few years
ago. “We made this crazy large masturbator and weren’t even sure if we wanted to release
it. We ran a small test order and it exploded, so the line exploded with it.”
Orlandino admits that it’s easier and cheaper to manufacturer smaller strokers (which
Pipedream continues to create), but the Mega Masturbators filled a void in the market.
“They allow people to fulfill fantasies they can’t live out in real life, for one reason or
another,” he said. “It’s the most realistic experience available on the market for the price.”
Since the first Fuck Me Silly, the line has grown to include the Fuck Me Silly 2 and
Fuck Me Silly 3, the Mega Fuck Slut Mega Masturbator, the Fuck My Big Fat Titties, the
Fuck My Face, the Fuck Me Silly Dude, the Fuck My Tight Ass, the Fuck My Hard Cock,
the Mini Fuck Me Silly and the Fuck Me Silly Mia Isabella.
But for as much of a void as the Pipedream Products line has filled, Nasstoys has gone
to an even narrower niche with its life-sized masturbators, thanks to the introduction of
the My 1st Pregnant Knocked Up Pussy masturbators earlier this year. The pieces, compa-
ny officials said, cater to men with maiesiophilia, a sexual fetish for pregnant women.
Nasstoys Director of Sales and Marketing Kathryn Hartman said the idea for the life-
sized pregnant masturbators (which also vibrate) got its start when staffers were noticing
an uptick in personal ads online and in alternative publications where men were looking
for relationships with pregnant women.
“We also noticed the increasing popularity of
‘Knocked Up’ and ‘Preggers’ adult DVDs on the web
market,” she said.
And mainstream publications have not been shy in
recent years about glamorizing beautiful pregnant
women: “Demi Moore, pregnant on the best selling
issue of Vanity Fair several years ago … Or Claudia
Schiffer in full maternal bloom on the cover of Vogue
…,” Hartman said. “Hollywood has made pregnancy
sexy and fashionable. Mainstream marketing and
Hollywood have cleared the way for us to finally make
the adult toy that will satisfy our retail customers who are
maiesiophiles.”
The pieces also can create a new fantasy for men to explore, she noted.
“Fertility reminds men of virility. When men feel virile, they get better erections,” she
said. “The idea of impregnating or ‘owning’ a female (or her vagina) can be a tremendous
turn-on to a man. This is an erotic fantasy that goes deep into our mammal psyches. Not
to mention the turn-on that one who has sex with an already pregnant pussy need not use
contraceptive devices for the prevention of pregnancy and also gets to enjoy the newly
enlarged fuller breasts and eventually the lactation … But that’s another toy.”
