If having sex with practically anybody and everybody who’s
agreeable to the proposition is one of your life’s primary
foci, why not turn it into a career? That’s what Phil Varone,
onetime Skid Row and Saigon Kick drummer—not to
mention cast member of VH1’s Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew—
is making his best run at these days.
Following his AVN Award-nominated Phil Varone’s Secret
Sex Stash (one of the several Vivid Celeb releases bestowed a
nod this year for the first-ever Best Celebrity Sex Tape
honor) and the debut of his own sex toy line through
California Exotic Novelties, Varone has now launched the
series at hand dedicated to documenting the swinger
lifestyle to which he says he’s long adhered.
“‘Swinging’ is such a ’70s, Austin Powers term,” Varone joked. “We call it
‘lifestyling.’ When you think of swinging, it’s like a bunch of cats on a shag rug. But
I’ve been in the lifestyle for about 20-plus years, and Steven [Hirsch, Vivid founder
and co-chairman] asked me if I would be interested in shooting a real swinger series.
And because I belong to a couple of swinger sites and I have many swinger friends, I
was able to put this cast of crazies together and we shot Texas Fuck ’Em.”
That first volume finds Varone and friends playing a version of Texas Hold ’Em
involving special cards shuffled into the deck bearing an array of sexual instructions.
Three follow-up editions are already in the can as of press time—one following Varone
to Las Vegas for AEE, one capturing a road trip to California’s Big Bear resort area, and
the third shot in other various locales around the Golden State.
Beyond that, Varone said the plan is “to go to different states, different cities that
have a pretty deep swinger pool, and show the people in those areas too.”

Tonight’s Girlfriend | Naughty America/Pure Play
At AVN, we’ve heard a rumor that some porn stars moon-
light as escorts ... so what better concept could there be
for a new VOD/video series?
Well, Naughty America has taken the plunge, so every
Friday on NaughtyAmerica.com subscribers can find a
new entry in a new series, Tonight’s Girlfriend—and those
without subscriptions will be able to find those scenes col-
lected on DVD every other month or so.
“Tonight’s Girlfriend means, if you have the means, you
can have a different girlfriend every single night,” said
series co-creator Eddie Arenas. “The concept revolves
around high-end adult stars who could also do escorting
on the side, and what solidified the idea was everything
that was going on in the mainstream world, like Craigslist
taking down their escort services link. That’s the kind of stuff that we like, that will
strike a chord with something someone saw in the mainstream.”
Shot as a “premium product,” using a digital SLR to create warm, yellowish, cine-
matic tones—“like a Steven Soderberg movie,” Arenas confessed—the vignette series
will feature such established stars as Julia Ann, Lisa Ann, Alannah Rae (who got the
first boxcover) and Kagney Linn Karter, since they’re the ones viewers fantasize most
about—and there are even plans to have fans decide which stars they’d like to “date,”
what scenarios they’d like to see, and even which sexual positions.
“This is a hot series that really captures the fantasy behind the world’s oldest profes-
sion,” Pure Play Media’s Mr. Ritch said. “There is something unique about the
voyeuristic depiction of the paid relationship from start to finish.”

Though director Nica Noelle is known for movies that
focus on relationships full of emotion and passion, they’re
only part of what she hopes to accomplish in adult.
“My goal as an adult filmmaker is to depict all kinds of
sexual encounters between all different types of people,”
Noelle told AVN. “Gay, straight, interracial, trans, les-
bian—it makes no difference.”
Yes, that’s right: Noelle’s about to take the plunge into
transsexual features with her new studio, TransRomantic
Films.
“My philosophy as a pornographer is pretty simple:
Humans get turned on by watching other humans have
sex, and the more real and passionate the sex, the more
arousing for the viewer,” Noelle explained. “If that’s true for straight and lesbian porn
fans, why wouldn’t it be true for fans of TS porn? Also, there are universal themes every
human being can relate to: The lure of forbidden sex, of being attracted to someone
you’re not supposed to be attracted to—like the conflicts some ‘straight’ men have in
desiring a transwoman.”
One of those desirable transwomen, Amy Daly, will appear in Forbidden Lovers,
TransRomantic’s first feature, and Noelle was taken by her professionalism, describing
her as “an absolute joy to work with.”
“I’ve also worked with Brittany St. Jordan and Sarina Valentina,” Noelle said. “I can’t
say enough good things about these beautiful women, and we’re all very excited to see
what the fans think of our first TransRomantic film.”
TS Playground | Jay Sin/Evil Angel
Jay Sin’s been a fan of transsexual porn for several years,
but his low assessment of much of the movies currently
out there drove him to try his own hand at the genre.
“I decided to do a TS line with a more high-quality
hardcore approach,” Sin told AVN. “Finding the talent
was easy for me because TS Mandy Mitchell helped me
out. She helped me find t-girls like her that like fucking
real girls and doing things new to them like ATMs and
gaping, which seem to be taboo for shemales, so that was
something new I wanted to bring to the shemale porn
market.”
Of course, it wasn’t easy, since most agents won’t allow
their female clients to work with trannies, thinking (incor-
rectly) that trannies aren’t tested and lack professionalism—but Sin kept trying and
managed to snag some beauties to work with his shemales.
“One thing that I can really appreciate with t-girls is that if they are excited or
turned on, they are hard, so there is no faking there,” Sin explained. “What I think will
attract shemale fans is the way I shoot them: I always have and will film them as beau-
tiful women with just a big clitoris.”
Ultimate Fuck Toy | Jules Jordan Video
Jules Jordan unleashed the Ultimate Fuck Toy series as a
showcase for super-hot new girls who are on the rise and on
the edge of stardom. He kicked things off with Amia Miley,
who certainly made a splash. The movie featured her best
sex performances and represented the high-water mark for
her career now that she’s gone off to date a Jersey Shore
reject.
Jordan followed up that release with a showcase for
white-hot starlet Riley Reid (see her profile in this section).
Next up for the series’ third installment is Cuban hottie
Abella Anderson.
“The key to this series is finding a girl whose exposure
was limited at the time I shot it,” Jordan shares. “I want to show them in a different
light and push them a bit because the whole movie is based on them. My hope is that
the girls give the best performances of their career to date and it makes them a huge
star so fans seek out their defining performances. That’s what Ultimate Fuck Toy is
