“That has always meant a lot,” she told the
crowd. “There were some who didn’t think we
would make it past the first 24 hours.”
Guests for the brunch gathered in a sound
stage on a lower level of the theme park,
and were able to indulge in everything from
shrimp cocktail to fresh carved turkey or steak
to caprese salad to eggs and bacon or mango
jalapeño sausage.
Photo booth stations were set up in the back
of the room, while tables were decorated with
movie-themed props, including film reels,
megaphones and gold statues.
Before guests were sent off to explore the
park and all its rides, shows and tours, Colvin
had everyone raise a glass of champagne for a
toast not only to CalExotics, but one another.
