Some companies, such as 3T Robotic Company Ltd. and
1amDollUSA, took to the fan side of the show, exhibiting their
range of posable love dolls directly to fans at the concurrent AVN
Expo.
First-Time Charmers
Making its AVN Novelty Expo debut in 2019 was Zalo, an
international brand that is now reaching out to the Canadian and
American markets.
With eight patterns of vibration, the rechargeable Zalo massagers
are available in the Versailles, Lolita and Sweet Magic collections.
Some of the massagers come with a remote control, and all are
compatible with the Zalo app, which is available through the Apple
and Android stores.
The Queen G-spot vibrator by Zalo introduces electromagnetic
PulseWave technology, which uses a wave-type motor in
combination with a vibration motor, according to company rep
Mara Epstein. It was named Outstanding Product for Women at the
2019 “O” Awards, held during the show.
Queen has eight vibration modes, eight PulseWave modes, and
a 107 degrees Fahrenheit (42 degrees Celsius) heating temperature
control. PulseWave technology uses adjustable intensity with
a range up to 75 sets of stimulation per second. The Cleopatra-
inspired unique snake charm design control features a Swarovski
Crystal and three separate buttons that control heating, the
vibration motor and the wave motor.
Brand-new exhibitor LubeLights was a hit with attendees. The
husband-and-wife team of Aaron and Erin Staeben showcased lube
containers that give “an extra spark in the dark” because the caps
are equipped with an LED light and can be popped open to provide
instant illumination. Aaron explained that they have a utility patent
for the idea and intend to employ it in a variety of ways beyond the
current product, which is designed to make it easier to apply lube
in the dark. Other ideas include a Camp Light, which can be used
by recreational campers, and a water bottle aimed at joggers who
run after dark.
Mister Hard Head was another first-time exhibitor on the B2B
floor, showcasing four varieties of condoms with fun names and
creative packaging, all showcased in well-designed displays that
can be standing or affixed to slatwall. And there’s a point-of-sale
countertop display as well. The varieties include Big Heads (for
