better than the last. “As more and more people are familiar with single-tail use and design,
they realize how nice mine are and are well worth the investment.”
Also based in L.A., Firebird Leather displayed their custom cut collars, floggers, harnesses
and gauntlets. Firebird rep Nix added that this DomCon was the best one for her.
What would a DomCon be without the presence of a corset maker or two? Ms. Martha’s
Corset Shoppe out of Atlanta and Vegas had available several styles of corsets for every body
shape, complete with steel support bones in them. The unique fabrics and designs made
their booth a must-visit for every attendee.
Ms. Sanctuary Leather 2018—Laced Up Corsets’ own Jessica Alisha, aka Cupcake—
showed off her collection of corset dresses and nine other styles of corsets. “This is always
a great show for us and I love being here. The support from the community has been great,
too!” Alisha said.
There were several unique kink crafts creators at DomCon, too.
Paraphalia displayed gorgeous, high-quality striking tools made with the finest hand-
crafted leathers using saddlery and boot and shoe construction techniques. “The finishing
details are painstakingly done to create items that are not only useful but are, in fact,
investments,” shared Paul Carri. “We take our products very seriously.”
Western Massachusetts Agreeable Agony presents itself as a single company but is, in fact,
a collective of artists who pride themselves in creating a variety of kink products. Featuring
wax play tools of the trade, ropes of every kind, floggers and impact toys, the wide booth
allowed buyers to find something for everyone.
Perhaps the most unique offering at DomCon had nothing to do with tying someone up,
flogging them with high-quality leather, gagging them with a ball in their mouth, or any
other type of BDSM available at DomCon. It was a particular offering by Geeky and Kinky’s
own Kevin Knight.
Geeky and Kinky makes small, creatively designed, custom enameled pins to be worn on
vests or any article of clothing, sporting geeky and kinky themes. Some are subtle, some not
so much. By far, the most important enamel pin available was made to look like the hostess
of DomCon herself, Mistress Cyan.
But it gets better. Apparently, Mistress Cyan has been stricken with macular degeneration,
an eye disease that is making her increasingly visually impaired and for which there is no
cure. But now there is a visual supportive headset available that has allowed Mistress Cyan
to see more clearly than she has in years. The cost has been somewhat prohibitive, and
through the sales of the Mistress Cyan pins and the fundraising auction held at DomCon,
Mistress Cyan will now be able to purchase this new device, which will allow her to enjoy
many more DomCons in the future. Just like us.
