Gearing Up
Creative toys for fetish players abound at DomCon
styles. Offering smaller prints as well as works
on canvas, he sold many of his pieces and also
arranged for custom fetish photo shoots while in
Los Angeles.
Shockingly enough, Current Pleasures provided
a plethora of increasingly popular eletro-stim
devices for every kink. The company relies heavily
on educating the users on safely creating electro-
stimulation scenes with these devices, which have
become a must-have tool for any pro-dom.
Kali, from Philadelphia’s stylish fetish boutique,
Passionale, displayed a wide variety of latex and
leather in a range of styles and sizes. “This was our
best DomCon yet and we’ve been doing this show
for over a decade,” shared Kali. “We’ve done really
well with men’s wear here and it’s definitely worth
flying across the country for us to vend at DomCon.
We love it here!”
Stalwart Orchid and Serpent, a frequent vendor
in the Lair and on the floor of AEE in Vegas,
presented their usual array of everything for
everybody. “We’re like a kink department store!”
exclaimed Susan, Orchid and Serpent’s owner. “We
even have items for the vanilla folks!” referring to
those who are not yet kinky.

During the month of May, DomCon comes to the LAX Hilton, taking
a Bacchanalian rite of spring. The convention, catering to lifestyle
dominants of mostly the female persuasion, is the largest of its kind
in the United States and is attended by an international coterie of dominants
and their followers.
Hosted by Mistress Cyan, who also hosts the Lair at the AVN Adult
Entertainment Expo every January at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las
Vegas, this year’s DomCon set the bar even higher with parties and, most
important, the exhibition of every kind of BDSM equipment available.
“This is the 15th year of DomCon LAX and I couldn’t be happier,”
exclaimed Mistress Cyan. “The parties held at my club, the Sanctuary, have
been excellent, with incredible shows and attendees. I’ve been told that the
feedback has been ‘on a scale of 1-10, this year’s DomCon is a 15!’ It doesn’t
get better than that!”
Many of the 40-plus vendors shared Mistress Cyan’s enthusiasm about the
three-day show.

Danny, of Boston’s Leather By Danny, attended DomCon for the tenth
time. “This is one of the best shows for me as I have many repeat customers
who attend,” he said. “My revolutionary Split Thumpers and trademarked
Grip Cuffs, both of which were invented by me, do incredibly well. I make
everything I have and to show it all at DomCon is truly an honor.”
Fetish and BDSM photographer Douglas P. Cooper of Northern California
presented beautiful giclee prints of his concept art photos in rich, darker
