through DC Comics. Boy shorts, lace back
panties and lace string hipster panties
are among the pieces the manufacturer/
distributor carries. And Peter La Mantia,
marketing director for Xgen, said the
company is willing to help retailers make
the most of the items to maximize their
profits.
“As of now we will be sticking with
just lingerie,” he said of Xgen’s product
offerings. “We have plenty of ideas and
things in the works, but nothing on the
immediate horizon to coincide with the
release of the DVD.
“Our marketing department can
create anything a retailer might need,”
he continued. “Wall skins, shelf talkers,
brochures, banners, web graphics, and
more.”
La Mantia said Xgen offers signage,
catalogs and a multitude of supporting
materials. Retailers can contact their Xgen
sales rep to get any POS materials they
might need designed.

“The stores are our frontline, so we make sure to supply them with every bit of ammo we can to sell
our products,” he said.
Xgen Products is not the only manufacturer with Wonder Woman-themed products: Doc Johnson
created its Super Hung Heroes line more than a year ago when Marvel Studios’ Avengers characters
were a hit, and expanded with DC themes later. The Wonder Pussy is part of the manufacturer’s Super
Horny Heroine’s range, and is a stroker made of Doc’s trademarked UltraSkyn material. Made in
America, the stroker itself is decorated with stars and the packaging has a cartoon image of a woman
dressed in a costume that resembles Wonder Woman.
Vibratex also got in on the Wonder Woman craze, creating a limited edition of collector pins that they
have given to customers are recent trade shows. The collectible enamel pins feature a version of Wonder
Woman riding a Magic Wand massager.
“Wonder Woman is such an iconic figure and can symbolize so many things for each individual,”
said Eddie Romero of Vibratex. “It felt fitting to pair both the Magic Wand and Wonder Woman. Both
are powerful, trusted, reliable, empowering and unmatched, it’s like they were meant to be and
compliment each other, for us, it felt like the perfect fit.”
Romero said the manufacturer is planning to create a limited edition of key chains as well.
“We’ll be working with some key retailers in doing a promotion in which a consumer can purchase a
Magic Wand and receive their very on key chain and/or pin,” Romero said. “We hope that fans of the
Magic Wand and Wonder Woman feel the same we do.”
While the Wonder Woman movie has already come and gone in theaters, retailers can still start
planning now so as not to miss out for future Wonder Woman appearances.
“The best advice I can offer is get on board now so you don’t miss out,” Xgen’s La Mantia said.
“We have seen what movies can do to increase interest in certain items within our industry. This is no
different. Wonder Woman is in the mainstream and is not going anywhere. So pick up the line and have
it ready.
“Definitely stock these items before the DVD release, and display them prominently,” he added “It
would be smart for retailers to have plenty in stock and promoted heavily the day the movie releases on
DVD. It will be fresh on people’s mind, so take advantage of the free marketing!”
