Shunga Erotic Art is in
the process of revamping
its products and
categories to better
meet customers’ needs,
and is ready to introduce new
products to create depth in the
category of intensifying products.
Dragon Sensitive and Lotus Noir will
officially debut at the upcoming ANME
Founders Show.
Dragon Sensitive cream is a softer version
of the original Dragon cream. It’s made for
couples who seek a milder “fire and ice”
sensation to fully enjoy love making. This version is less intense but just
as much fun. It will come in a stylish white bottle and printed colored
box. Included, is a new “how to use” pamphlet.
Lotus Noir is an external gel designed to intensify booth female
and male orgasms. It acts as a stimulant and enhances sensations
to experience intense pleasures together. It has its own box with a
beautiful Shunga drawing on it. In fact, it’s the drawing used in the
Shunga Erotic Art Set To Release New Products
Organica collection because of its 100
percent certified organic ingredients.
“This sensitizing gel for couples
was sold only in the Garden of Edo
collection kit and a lot of retailers were
getting demands only for the Lotus Noir
gel. So we are selling it separately now,”
said Guy Roussy, general manager of
Shunga.
“That’s one of the differences between
Lotus Noir and Dragon cream. They are
both for couples but Lotus Noir has 100
percent certified organic ingredients,” said Manon Vallée, co-founder
and vice president of Eau Zone Ltd., parent company of Shunga.
“Dragon offers a hot and cold effect, but with Lotus Noir you will feel a
coolness only.”
“A lot of new things are coming to the Shunga product line and we
will see more new product launched,” said Sylvain Séguin, president of
Eau Zone. “We are very excited for the upcoming months with our new
product launches.”

Intimate Organics Rebrands
As Intimate Earth
Intimate Earth, a modernized rebrand of Intimate
Organics, is now available at adult boutique distributor
Entrenue.
“The Intimate Earth rebrand was
done with impeccable taste; the new
packaging is gorgeous and its simplified
selection evokes a true spa-quality
experience,” Entrenue President Joe
Casella said. “We’ve had the pleasure
of enjoying a longstanding relationship
with this company and we’re so pleased
with what they’ve done. Intimate
Organics was a strong seller for us and
we are confident that the new Intimate
Earth will remain a popular name in the
body-care category.”
The collection features many of
the same glides, serums and oils that
customers have come to love from
the former brand with ingredients,
formulations and creations designed to
inspire people to fall in love—and stay
in love—naturally.
The company’s popular arousal
serums, signature glides, massage oils,
toy cleaners and oral pleasure glides
remain in the catalog with the natural
formulations that consumers have trusted for years. Its
flavor palette has been streamlined to feature only the
brand’s three most popular—with a highly anticipated
addition of Sweet Almond Massage Oil—and new visually
stunning packaging inspired by elements in nature. These
thoughtful updates have poised the new Intimate Earth to
be a market leader and perfect fit for stores catering to the
sexual wellness market.
A matching shelf display will be available with
minimum order in mid-summer.

CatalystCon Founder Hosting Pleasure
Products Symposium
Dee Dennis, founder of the CatalystCon sexual health and wellness
conference, announced the creation of a Pleasure Products Symposium,
which will take place the day before the traditional conference.
“When I started CatalystCon five years ago, I always knew I wanted to
o something on a day just for members of the industry and sex educators
and therapists,” Dennis said. “I got the idea from the first time I attended
AVN [Adult Entertainment Expo and Novelty Expo]. I thought it as great
seeing manufacturers and educators networking, mingling and making
relationships. I thought it would be great for them to sit down and have a
conversation together.”
Dennis said the communication and willingness to work together
among key groups in the pleasure products industry is much better than
it was even just a few years ago, but said she believes this event will
make it even easier to make contact and work together.
The inaugural Pleasure Products Symposium is slated for 9:30 a.m.
to 4:30 pm. on September 15 at the Westin Los Angeles Airport, Los
Angeles. CatalystCon takes place September 16-18 in the same hotel.
“The concept is similar to the mission of Catalyst Con: To create
conversations and relationships with those in the industry who all have
the same mission of sexual pleasure and health but are not normally all
in the same room talking,” Dennis said. “This will be different in that we
won’t have panels, but instead have conversations.”
The Pleasure Products Symposium will feature three blocks: Retailers,
Manufacturers, and Sex Educators, Therapists and Counselors. In
each of the blocks, recognized leaders in each sector will facilitate the
conversations, Dennis said.
The event is free to professionals and members of each of the targeted
sectors, but registration is required.
CatalystCon is a three-day conference that brings together speakers
and attendees to address topics such as feminist porn, sex education,
body image and sexuality, sex work, and political organizing in the sex
positive community. For more information, visit CatalystCon.com.
