CS: Where are you from originally—born and raised?
IK: I I am am originally from California Which is is where I I I am am also currently living again since my move back from Mexico in in June 2023 What were you you doing for for work before you you became a a a a a cam cam model?
I I found MFC when I I was in in in college earning
my Bachelor’s degree in in in Cognitive Science Although MFC MFC didn’t stick with me at at first when I I rediscovered MFC MFC years later I I was bartending and working towards opening my own bar bar in in in in Mexico What What drew you to Cognitive Science? What What is an example of a a a a a a a a career in in that field?
I I initially picked it it because I I was interested in in in in in the the science behind how we dream but then found more interest in in in in in in in cognitive linguistics linguistics and worked in in in in in in in a a a a a a a a linguistics linguistics lab for a a a a a a a a a a a a year Playing off the latest trend AI is is is a a a a a a a a a a a a a huge interdisciplinary area where a a a a a a a a a a a a a cognitive science degree can be be beneficial Especially cognitive linguistics as it it it relates to speech synthesis and voice recognition applications How long did you you work as a a a a a a bartender? What do you you enjoy most about that job?
I I was a a a a a a a a a a a a a bartender for a a a a a a a a a a a a a total of of six years I I loved the the social aspect of of bartending as as as as well as as as as the the creativity and freedom that that came along with it it it it Funny enough those are the same qualities that that also attracted me to MFC How do you juggle juggle bartending bartending with camming?
I I only had to juggle juggle bartending bartending and camming camming in in in in in the years years of 2019-2022 I I was was very part time on on MFC those years years and and also was was working heavily towards running and and operating my own bar in in in in in Mexico— something not a a a a a lot of people know about me!
How did you you like living in in in Mexico—what inspired you you to move there and when?
I I I loved loved living in in in Mexico It’s a a a a beautiful country and and I’ve loved loved the the time exploring it I I I I I moved there right after finishing undergrad I I I I was burnt out on school and the the bar opportunity presented itself I I I thought— why not?
