What were you doing for work before you
became a cam model?
I was working as an exotic dancer at a bikini bar
before I started webcamming. A bikini bar is a type of
strip club, but dancers are not allowed to reveal less
than a bikini top and thong. The work is the same as
any other stripper, however, so I’ve always (proudly)
considered myself a stripper. I danced on stage for
tips, flirted and chatted with customers, and sold lap
dances.
While working at the club, I started building up my
social media presence. I’ve always been really drawn
to marketing, and was inspired to utilize social media
as a tool. By creating an online presence, I was able
to attract new customers to the club and increase my
appeal to the club’s regulars.
After I began webcamming, I worked less at the
bikini bar, but I still worked there regularly. Dancing at
the club was enticing for webcam members, and the
fact that I webcammed was enticing for my strip club
customers!
How did you become skilled at the art of pole
dancing? When did you start?
I started taking pole dancing classes a few months
prior to working in the club. As a dancer, I was actually
interested in pole dancing for art and fitness. I was
living at my dad’s house at the time... and honest to
God… he installed my first pole in my bedroom for me.
Haha!
Dancing at the club definitely took my pole work
to the next level. I would learn new tricks at home or
in pole class and then get comfortable with them by
performing them over and over again at work.
How would you describe how you feel when you’re
dancing on stage?
I feel at home when I’m on the stage. I’m in my
element. There’s nothing I love more than catching
the attention of people throughout the club... making
eye contact with them as they are enticed by my
sensual movements and body. I find the art of exotic
dancing to be really satisfying. There are a handful of
core movements that can be done in various ways,
timing, and patterns. Once you’re comfortable with the
movements, you can let go and really feel the music.
Improvisation works great with exotic dancing! All the
movements can flow perfectly into the next. My style of
dancing is slow and sensual with a sharp movement
here and there to emphasize certain hits in the music.
