What else have I learned about myself? I definitely
had to learn to not be ashamed of my job and that
talking about it often makes people way more open to
it. If you are proud of what you do, outsiders will find
it way harder to attack you. It’s also great to connect
with people within the cam industry. It’s like we instantly
understand each other.
What kind of wine do you like?
Haha you should insert an evil laugh here. I like red
wine the most and after that pretty much anything
goes. Wine drinking is a family thing. My whole family
drinks wine! You gotta stay warm in Canada! And you
gotta stay tipsy in Cancun I guess? And don’t forget
the tequila! I mean come on, I’m almost Mexican at this
point. I’ll take a Don Julio 70 without lime and salt (that’s
only for bad tequila or tourists).
What are the challenges of taking care of seven dogs?
Oh you have no idea. I had eight at some point.
Quickly, what happened is that one of my two rescued
dogs (we are talking straight up from the streets) died
very suddenly of renal failure. Her name was Luna.
She was a very special girl and left a giant hole in my
heart. When she left it felt empty to only be with my
other wonderful dog, Hachi… so I went a bit crazy and
rescued a young mama and her six puppies. I’ll be
honest, I didn’t measure the amount of care, scares and
money it would take. All seven dogs were in really bad
shape and needed all their vaccines, antibiotics, anti-
parasites, good food and then sterilization. That was
the simple part. One of the pups ate a screen door and
had emergency surgery and a few days later one fell in
the pool, almost drowned and had to spend three days
in intensive care. They have completely destroyed my
backyard (including my security system, pool filtering
system and sprinklers) and everything they could find.
I’d say I’ve spent $25K so far on them. Finding homes
has been a bit of a nightmare and is the last step. So far
two cam girls have taken one, which I personally flew to
Montreal and Las Vegas and my cleaning lady Mercy is
taking one, too. I am left with five dogs, but really need
to find three good homes for my little babies.
