How did you build your community on MFC—the Starr
Fleet?
By literally just being myself and logging online
consistently. It takes a lot diligence and patience to keep
yourself going at the very start, but once you just let
yourself do your thing, the viewers notice and stick around.
Then more and more people want to be a part of the good
times and before you know it you have a full squad of like-
minded people that turn your dreams into reality.
What do you like most about camming?
The connections I make, the conversations we have,
the joy that my Fleet brings into my life. I truly wouldn’t
be the same without this job.
What interests you about space and the universe?
Everything! I’ve had a love for space ever since I can
remember. My mom and I would read all about the solar
system and space travel and then we got into shows like
9 | CAMSTAR | 7.18 Star Trek and The X-Files. The universe amazes me with
how little we truly know about it. So much space to be
explored and so many things to discover!
On your profile page, you say you’re a “food fanatic,
fruit mom, nerd potato, coffeeholic…” What kind of
foods are your favorite? What does “fruit mom” mean?
TACOS! I also love sushi, but tacos are pretty much my
only food group. And I’m “fruit mom” because my cat’s
name is Banana and my regs call me the mom of a fruit.
Why did you name your cat Banana?
Lol funny story. His original name was Garfield because
of course he looked just like him, but one day—after a
sizable joint—I got to looking at him and decided that
his color resembled the inside of a banana. No idea
how or why, but my friends and I laughed so hard at the
name Banana Meat that I couldn’t change it back. I like to
believe he likes it, too :)
