How did you build your community—your Crew, the
Royal Court?
It just… happened. We’re all goofballs with the
biggest hearts and enjoy spending time together.
They’re my best friends and some of the greatest
people I’ve ever known. We may be a smaller chatroom
but the phrase ‘quality over quantity’ couldn’t be more
true. I don’t know what I’d do without them because
they’re what keeps me going—my biggest supporters
and motivators. They always have my back. Love you,
Crew!
When did you begin cosplaying and how did you
incorporate it into your shows?
Cosplay started as a hobby of mine over 10 years
ago. I’ve always loved dressing up as my favorite
characters. My first cosplay ever was Pikachu and
I made the outfit from scratch. Let’s just say I’ve
produced some better cosplays since then.
As far as my cam shows, it just seemed natural for me
to incorporate cosplay into them and make content.
When I told my Mom about my first cosplay award
nomination she asked, ‘What’s cosplay?’ and after I
explained it to her she said, ‘Oh. You’ve been doing
that forever!’
What are some of your most popular cosplay
characters?
On cam and in the content I’ve created, people have
really enjoyed my Lara Croft, Harley Quinn, D.Va and
Harry Potter cosplays. I also attend New York Comic
Con every year in full cosplay and my most popular
ones have been Poison Ivy, Lara Croft and Mizore
Shirayuki. My first time attending the convention I was
surrounded by people asking to take my picture and I
wasn’t expecting that at all. It was exhilarating.
Where do you get your inspiration for a new
character?
So many places! Artwork, movies, fashion, video
games, anime, comic books. I get inspiration from the
characters themselves and my admiration for them. I
cosplay characters that I know and love.
What do you enjoy most about cosplay?
Knowing that each cosplay I do won’t be the same
as anyone else because it’s me doing it. I love being
creative and putting my own spin on things. Aside
