What do you like most about camming?

The flexibility to work when I want to, and take days off
when I need to. Because my office is my computer, I can
cam anywhere in the world. When I take vacation, I am still
able to log on for a couple hours each day, and not miss
a beat. Webcamming can also be quite lucrative, it has
afforded me the luxuries of being able to travel and being
able to do all the things I enjoy.
What do you like least?
Because of its flexibility, it is important to have goals
consistently. There isn’t a time punch, or any clocking out,
so remaining driven and motivated can be challenging.
How did you spend your first camming paycheck?
I will never forget my first paycheck. I still couldn’t
believe what I had made was real, and I refused to until
the check cleared into my bank account. After it did, I
went to a fondue restaurant I had been dying to try—but
could never afford. The following check, I bought a new
computer to webcam from.
How did you spend your last camming paycheck?
Writing this, I am currently on vacation in Vietnam, so I
guess you can say that my last check paid for my trip!
What’s a misconception about camming?
Some people often associate webcamming with
prostitution, which is far from the truth. Girls are online
camming, with the security and knowledge that they can
stay safe at home and still bring in a paycheck. I love
having that comfort and knowledge.
Another misconception, is the only work we do, is when
we broadcast. Sure, I log on 2-4 hours a day, but there are
countless offline hours that are unaccounted for. Making
videos, updating profiles, brainstorming show ideas. It
really does become a full-time job.
How has camming changed since you started?
Camming has absolutely exploded since I started!
It used to be more European driven, with cam studios
predominantly from Russia and Romania. Nowadays,
there is such a diverse community of girls, at any given
time there is so much creativity being exhibited. The
technology used for webcamming is also booming. Girls
will have green screens, sound effects and some other
crazy cool shit going down in their room to really display
their creative niche.
