He’s been spanked by paranormal activity, launched a rocket up his butt, ate too much Taco Bell, engaged in some very erotic ASMR sessions, and conjured up Candyman (err, Devinman?). And that’s just the start of Devin Holt’s hilarious 2021, which was just as successful with his self-made Twitter and YouTube content as it was in his award- nominated work at Helix.
“It’s hard to pick favorite posts—all of them had their own challenges and were special to me at one point... probably the Christmas dick-in- a-box pictures, the Squid Game pictures, and the Blue Origin rocket going up my ass,” he says. “For the dick-in-a-box pictures, I made that gift box custom out of a random Amazon box, and I thought they came out so cool. ... The dick sugar honeycomb for the Squid Game pictures was so hard to make. I spent days in the kitchen making such a mess and getting everything sticky to get it just right.”
Holt credits a fellow Twitter/Reddit user and adult content creator with initially getting him started on crafting his homemade humor.
“(Aaron3108) reached out to me after seeing me join Helix and I ended up joining his Discord group. Then one day they were all planning a group tweet where we wore nothing but a tie with the caption ‘All tied up.’ I decided to jump in and people really liked that, and that sparked the idea of coming up with creative and clever little sex joke tweets. There’s nothing I love more than sex jokes,” laughs Holt. “I remember seeing a Geico commercial with DJ Khaled, and the guy’s name he was talking to was ‘Devin.’ I was like, “OMG I have to stick myself in there naked, that’d be so funny.’ So I did, and that’s what got me into making more videos.”
And Helix allowed him to grow even more.
“I’ve learned a lot about myself during the last year and a half. I was finally able to leave the house and experience the world by myself. I got to really figure out what I like and don’t like. I got the chance to meet a lot of different people and figure out who I really am and want to be. I’ve been able to become more independent.”
