“With culinary, dance and architecture, they all are
remarkably similar—they’re all taking raw ingredients
and turning it into something that can be consumed.”
Dancer. Photographer. Chef. Pornographer. What’s next for Tayte
Hanson? They’re still writing the story.
“I guess I’ve never really known what I wanted to do, so I’ve kind of
forced myself to do everything—and fortunately I’ve been decently good
at a lot of things,” Hanson laughs. “With culinary, dance and architecture,
they all are remarkably similar—they’re all taking raw ingredients and
turning it into something that can be consumed. I think with all of those
for me, it was easy to find a direct link between them—as well as direct
it from my place of wanting to take care of people, which at the end of
the day is where all of my desires in the world lie.”
Hanson entered the industry in 2014 at CockyBoys, a move that made
the performer realize the power of sex in their own life.
“I’ve always been a remarkably sexual person. Without divulging too
much, I was sexually assaulted when I was young, and I always use the
analogy that sex a lot of times is like a faucet—and when you turn it on,
there’s no turning it off. And so when I was young, I feel like that faucet
got turned on, and then it never got shut off,” they say. “So for me, it
was a really terrible, awful experience; however, that experience gave me
time to really find out who I was quite young, and then my exploration
happened over time…porn has definitely liberated my existence as a
sexual human being.”
Hanson later worked with Men.com and then took a break before
ultimately returning to CockyBoys. After calling Jake Jaxson, the performer
soon appeared in Hollywood and Vine after a two-year absence. They
also started directing some scenes for the studio during the pandemic.
“I told him that I missed creating this incredible art, because I think
CockyBoys creates a lot of really remarkable porn—but even more than
that, a lot of really remarkable art porn,” Hanson says.
