“I’ve always felt comfortable
in my body.”
When Drew Sebastian was in his early teens a buddy started showing
him Inches, Dude and Honcho.
“I still have an affinity for those magazines,” he says. “That’s where I started
wanting to get into porn.”
Born in Knoxville, Sebastian moved to Alabama at a young age and then
back to Tennessee. With his parents divorced, he also spent a lot of time
in Houston—where he moved to full time in his 20s.
“That was where I first started to go-go dance and escort. So I was 25
and I wanted to get into porn—and I got into a relationship instead. He
was encouraging, but I was nesting—and I figured that if it was meant to
be, it would happen at some point. And it did: 10 years later, I decided to
get into porn.”
Sebastian entered the industry in 2012, eventually taking a three-year
break after getting into a new relationship. He focused his energy on culinary
pursuits as a private chef.
“While I was on my little hiatus, I had a lot of fans tell me that they missed
me and that they wanted to see more of me, so I had that little bug planted
in my ear,” he says. “Then the opportunity came when I spent a weekend
in Palm Springs. They were filming some porn, and one guy couldn’t do
his scene. So the director was begging me—he literally said, ‘I’m going to
beg you now to fill in for this guy.’ So I did, and that took off.”
Sebastian started filming again in 2019 and has enjoyed a career resurgence
that has surpassed even his own expectations.
“It feels really good. I’ve always felt comfortable in my body; sometimes I
feel too skinny, or sometimes I feel too goofy or a little chubby or whatever,
but I’ve never felt bad about my age—and I almost feel like I’m better looking
now, or more like what I feel like inside. These years, at this age, I feel better
than I did as a kind of awkward younger guy.”
