EDITOR’S
NOTE
Dainty Wilder likes sharing her life off the set just as much as she enjoys taking her fans
inside the big leagues of content creation.
Whether it’s candid moments with her parrots or just running errands, the world-class
creator from Sydney, Australia is a natural at engaging with her community.
“Because I’ve learned that my fans really like seeing the real me, even if it’s not sexy
necessarily,” she tells me. “They love seeing pet updates, they love seeing just me getting
a coffee, just the seemingly mundane things.”
But Wilder and her multi-faceted brand are anything but boring. The former interior designer
turned squirting phenom also is a talented artist who can draw realistic pictures with a lead
pencil.
“I’ve been drawing my whole life,” Dainty says. “I’ve been very into it since I was a kid. But
I think it wasn’t until high school that I really got deep into it.”
She has stunning drawings of her birds and even one of Kurt Cobain from her “grunge
phase” in high school.
“I love Nirvana, I love Soundgarden, grungy stuff from that era,” Dainty says. “And then
yeah I got really into emo music as well. I went through a lot of phases. But it was all very
punk or grunge or alternative. Like I got into Slipknot. ... Slipknot was actually the first concert
I ever went to.”
Nowadays, her taste is “a lot more mixed.”
“I definitely still love that music but I also love hyper-pop kind of genres,” she adds.
Dainty also sports some amazing body ink, including a Luma tattoo from Super Mario
Galaxy on her left biceps and Navi from The Legend of Zelda on her back. She got her first
tattoo when she was 18 on her left forearm—the symbol for recovery from an eating disorder.
“That’s the only meaningful one, I would say.”
