A funny thing happened on the way to corporate success for Maddie Wren. With her striking
looks, conservative business suits and a deep knowledge of cancer research and related
treatments, the Chicago native was a youthful junior executive on the rise with a major biotech
firm in Silicon Valley.
An ‘A’ student and high achiever, Wren was always very driven. But even as she attended
college in Northern California and was earning her master’s degree in a medical-related field
last summer, she discovered OnlyFans and camming. And being wild at heart, she relished
the chance to express herself with new, exciting content. Although she didn’t show her face,
her popularity grew.
Now the svelte brunette has taken the next big step with her arrival in porn.
“I always knew I wanted to get into porn,” she said. “It fascinated me.”
Having connected with industry veteran Mike Adriano, she flew to Los Angeles and shot
two scenes with him. She had seemingly found her niche, even as she planned her move
into the corporate world.
Wren used to work 10 hours a day as she positioned herself for success in the corporate
world, but she found herself at a tipping point after less than a year.
“I just wasn’t happy. I felt empty and it was as if I was living my life to suit other people,”
she recalled. “I couldn’t shake it and it really bothered me. I just wasn’t a 9-to-5 type person.”
With a successful OnlyFans page and after a friend connected her with OC Modeling CEO
Sandra McCarthy, Wren made the plunge into mainstream porn. She would soon book shoots
for Deeper, Swallowed, True Anal and others in quick succession.
“I knew it was going to be hard and you’re working every single day with your body,” she
said. “And you have to play so many different roles, but it’s all about authenticity and being
your real self.”
But performing on camera comes natural for Wren, whose easy-going demeanor and quirky
sense of humor plays well with her fellow performers and fans alike.
“I’ve met so many wonderful people in the industry who are so talented that I feel blessed,”
she said. “I am learning so much every time I’m on set with all these people.”
As for her favorite performers, Wren has a deep admiration Adriana Chechik, whose intense
scenes have earned her numerous AVN awards. Also on her list are petite starlet Ivy Ireland
and industry newcomer Isa Bella, whose energy and charm are at the center of many popular
releases this past year.
Although she’s just a few months into her career, Wren already has lofty goals: “My goals
this year are to work with Jules Jordan. His work is amazing,” she said. “Also, I would love
to be nominated for something, so I really need work my ass off. I’d love to be nominated for
Best New Starlet and be considered for that. Maybe do a DP—but not for a while.”
With her Brazzers debut arriving this month and a new Reality Kings release opposite Victor
Ray also coming soon, Wren is on the upswing.
“I had the opportunity to shoot a feature film for Digital Playground directed by Ricky
Greenwood,” she said. “And I’m really excited about the release this year. I was really shocked
when I first heard from my agent about it! I was on a plane and I was literally shaking about it.”
Not bad for a high school tomboy who did gymnastics and liked to roughhouse during
lacrosse games at school. But for Wren, getting her first major feature just months into her
new career is another sign of things to come.
