EDITOR’S
NOTE
Eve Sweet wants to create a podcast in which she not only shares the real girl behind the
stage name, but also spotlights her peers.
The two-time, reigning AVN International Female Performer of the Year had been doing
her periodic Q&A, “Sweet Talk With Eve,” on Instagram for the past year-and-a-half, but
troubles with her account being deleted have interrupted her fun.
“I will love to change ‘Sweet Talk with Eve’ to the real me,” Eve says from her home in
Marbella, Spain. “And I would love to invite people from the industry. I would like to show
to the rest of the world just that person as it is, right?”
It’s her desire to remove the “shield,” the personas that people create when they step into
the adult world. Eve says even though fans tend to put their favorite stars on a pedestal,
most of them—herself included—lead “very simple” private lives.
“And I want to know the real person behind and I want to make them very comfortable
that they will express themselves,” she tells me. “They will express their character.”
Eve continues, “And if that person wants to smoke, they can smoke. If that person wants to
drink a wine that is something that is relaxing him by the beach, then we will do the podcast
by the beach with a glass of wine. If that person loves sport, then we can go to the gym and
he can train and we can talk. If that person loves spa, then we will go to a spa and we will
film inside of a spa and we will have what makes that person happy. I would love to share
the real person and also to post the raw material. I don’t want edited things.”
Speaking of real interactions, Sweet tells me she did not expect anyone to recognize
her last year during her trip to L.A. Then she was enjoying a meal at a French restaurant in
Hollywood when the chef came out to her table.
“And he was like, ‘Are you Sweet?’ And I was like, ‘Um, I thought nobody knows me. Yes,
I’m Sweet and the steak is very tasty.’”
